Hey, Everyone!

Welcome to my blog! I’ve had an influx of new followers over the past month (due in no small part to this little guy...)

So I thought I’d introduce myself! I’ve been active and posting on Tumblr since 2012 (wow-- I can’t believe it’s been a decade!) and I’ve been drawing since about 2008. 

I got my B.F.A. in Character Animation in 2019 where I pitched and directed my first animated short film, Tiffany, about an art piece that comes to life. 

And just recently graduated two weeks ago with my Masters in Animation and Visual Effects after single-handedly producing my capstone film, Cycles (it’s not available to view yet, sorry!) 

Even though I post a lot of my 2D work on Tumblr, I’m actually a 3D Character and Character Tech specialist! And, of course, in my spare time I play a lot of Dungeons and Dragons. Sometimes the world of hobbies and work collide, and I treat myself to a little mish-mash of the two, like this Casimir here! 

I’m currently employed as a University-level educator for this specialization, but freelance-wise I’m hoping to open up commissions consistently (for both 2D and 3D work) as well as start touring the state-wide con circuit again.  I’m really excited to have y’all here, and if you ever have any questions about my process, workflow, or even going to University for art, let me know! One of my greatest missions as an artist is to make the path to professionalism easier for those who come after me, and I’m very passionate about it. 

Thanks for following, and I hope to bring you a lot of fun content in the coming months!

So @ artsekey drew this art inspired by the TAZ Balance fic I’ve been working on, and my teeth just about fell out of my head. I’m not remotely over how cool Kravitz looks here, and poor Taako’s just having a really rough week.
