Hello everyone! Tonight, I’m not uploading a new piece, instead I’m showing how far I’ve come from the beginning of the year to now. While #artseptember has come to an end, I will still practice and showcase my favourite pieces, so that the skills I’ve learned don’t get rusty or disappear. To be honest, I’m really happy that I’ve come this far. I know I still have a long way to go, but I am so happy that I can do more than just the standard flowers I’ve done before. I’ve learned how to create clouds and landscapes now and I now know how to create a sense of distance. So, I’ll definitely keep practicing, so that I’d be able to do more detailed ones. Hello everyone! Here is today’s watercolour painting! I absolutely love it, despite the mistakes. It was inspired by Bob Ross and his styles, because they’re pretty fun and easy to make. Hello everyone! Sorry it’s late, I was playing LEGO Harry Potter with my sister...she’s been rereading the books and her potter-head syndrome flared up, and since she was feeling sentimental...I couldn’t help but join her! Anyway, this particular painting was done last week. I was in the middle of one today, but because it’s so late, I couldn’t finish. So here’s a piece I am absolutely proud of! I love it because it feels more detailed than anything, and yes I used my pens for this one. Anyway, I took inspiration from Pinterest for this one. I might make another one later, we’ll see! Hello everyone! Back again today, with my daily watercolour practice! And look! I have shadows! I just realised how easy doing cacti is in water colour, so I tried it. So this time I tried to add some shadows and gradients here, which is pretty difficult, when using brush pens. It’s because the pens are already set with their colours, so it’s difficult to determine what shade you’ll get when you mix them up. Hello everyone! Here’s today’s watercolour post. I wanted to create a new one today, but I can’t really be bothered to get out my paints and practice...maybe later, but it’s highly unlikely. Instead I want to show you guys how much I’ve improved from the first cherry blossom I did, and yes this was using proper watercolour paints, and not the pens! I’m pretty proud of this one. Despite not having too much detail, I feel like it looks less cartoonish than the first one I made. Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s perfect yet. I have a long way to go before I can say it is. Hello everyone! Sorry I’ve been in a blackout all August, thanks to the heatwave I had to drop everything and just take some time out to refocus. Now that September has begun, I’ve taken everything back up, so with that I’ve started my daily posts again. This time, it is #artseptember and I’m going to try to practice my watercolour and pastel art every day, so that I can get better!
