So I decided to draw the chibi boys!
They're having a little trip!
Btw, the guitar belongs to Stanley.
I headcanon that Stan played the guitar from a young age (Ford can play the piano, and I wanted to give Stan something to play too!), but he stopped entirely after pushing Ford through the portal. Since Ford can’t play the guitar and Stan had to pretend to be him, the instrument became something he left behind.
Ford mentioned Stan's love of guitars to Mabel and Dipper in passing.
Wanting to do something special, they gave Stan a guitar covered in stickers for his birthday (I'm too lazy to draw the stickers. It was Mabel's idea, btw).
And now, even though Stan is a bit rusty, he won't stop playing the guitar whenever he gets the chance!
Playing again feels like reclaiming a part of himself he’d buried for years.
(I know this is ironic considering his hate for that musician who took Carla from him and all, but I just wanted to give him something he can enjoy. He needs happiness, so let's give it to him in whatever way possible!)
