I wonder, if I ever found an amethyst in the ground, would I be able to get it out? I had a recurring dream when I was a child about finding a great underwater treasure trove, grabbing as much as I could hold in two hand and then waking up with nothing. I could see the real-life adult version of this would be not having the tools to remove the treasure I find, and having to leave it behind for someone more capable to find.
