Communication is integral to unity. Unity is a core virtue for any thriving community. Therefore without communication, communities cannot exist or be sustained for very long... before they crumble into war-zones or into separate factions filled with incessantly belligerent people. Any semblance of peace begins with liberty. The liberty of all individuals. ALL the cards have to be on the table for liberty to be established altruistically. Liberty. That is the freedom to think, and say, and do whatever one wants as long as it does not harm, destroy, inhibit the freedom or wellbeing of another individual. Where does the line get drawn? And who decides? Well if there is no communication, clear, open, and thorough dialogue, if there is no room for discussion, sharing and an exchanging of ideas, welcome to tyranny. Fascism. Socialism. Communism. Marxism. All Catastrophes. All have left a permanent smear in human history. All totalitarian governments ever were a failure and detriment to human flourishing. A distortion of human thought, reality, and liberty. The errors of which I’m terrified will be repeated in the 21st century if we do not stop this “cancel culture” and nip it in the bud before we actually wake up with another iron curtain. This one tearing America asunder. Let’s communicate, reason, and think critically together. We all (anyone reading this post) have at least 3 things in common. We were born, we are human, and we will die. United we stand, divided we fall. Our communication may break down, we’ll make mistakes, and we fumble around, we are made of dirt after all, we can expect errors. But let’s do better, let’s talk, discuss, argue, diversity is a beautiful thing right? Leave homogenization to food products, don’t just disassociate with people because they don’t agree with 100% of your belief system. It’s ok if people disagree, this is good it means we can listen and grow. We can be stretched and strengthen our feeble minds to deal with the cold harsh realities of life, suffering and death. Together.
There is One whose communication never ceases. The Great “I Am.” YHWH. We see this in the first verses of Genesis whilst YHWH was about to create human BEings, “Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." Genesis 1:26 Translated from ancient Hebrew, the Greek Septuagint, and Latin. Why “us” “our” if it not be some profound mystery that the One True Living God has 3 Inseparable and unified Persons acting perfectly One, as One, All-in-all, One in essence, with which to communicate with. Christians call this profound mystery the Trinity. The Oneness of God is dynamic, not absolute. Don't think 1+1+1=3, but rather 1x1x1=1. Because God in all 3 persons are eternal and perfectly equal in unity. This God created a universe with 3 everywhere so in some way our puny brains can grasp the concept, though not fully. Water has 3 states, solid, liquid, gas. It's still H2O in essence, but the molecules are structured differently for all 3, different states, same essence. There is Space, Time, and Matter, there is Past, Present, and Future, There is Mind, body, and spirit. Our hearts have tricuspid valves (3 flaps), and there are many more examples in the natural observable universe that can aid in giving us a real grip on the concept. To my Christian brothers & sisters, we can learn a thing or two about being dynamic from God.
