Whumper forces Whumpee A to kill Whumpee B, who is their lover/sibling/friend/protege. As a reward, Whumpee A is set free. Whether Whumpee B blamed A or assured them they did the right thing in their dying moments, Whumpee A carries the guilt forever.
!!!!GUILT
B never even have the chance to say any last words, so A keeps thinking that the look on B’s face was a mix of horror, betrayal, and maybe even hatred. Wether or not this was actually the case is up to you.
B was desperate in their final moments and said some things that they would probably take back had they lived, but those words continue to haunt A.
B Told A over and over that they weren’t at fault, they needed to escape and live a normal life again. Of course guilt makes A believe they should have died instead.
