Herb ask: Embrium with Asaz and Dam (I'm in a fluffy mood) :)
Embrium: Thinking they are beautiful
(I’m gonna go back for this one~)
There were many people who would think that she was crazy.Taking in a wild mage, travelling with them, sleeping around them - a deathwish. Yet she knew she wouldn’t be able to explain just what made her keepDamiana around. No one would be able to understand.
“Asaz, you’re going to walk into a tree at this point, please pay attention...” Damiana deadpanned.
The qunari blinked, realizing she had missed the lastdistance of the walk. She sighed and stretched. “But it’s so pleasant out...”
Indeed it was, the sun was shining warm over the road allmorning, some rain still glistening from the night before. The spring flowerscould be smelt for miles. Then there was the beauty walking at her side, freckles darkened by the rays of sun sneaking beneath her fiery hair. She watched the grace of the witch’s movements, delicate and deadly even though she was sightless.
“You’re staring again...” Damiana scolded halfheartedly. At this point it was almost useless to tell Asaz to stop, she never listened unless she wanted to.
“I can’t help it, you’re--”
“Yes, yes, the most beautiful creature you’ve ever met that could turn you into a frog...”
“Oh, so I’ve mentioned it?”
The witch groaned and resisted the urge to rub her temples. “Asaz...”
She could only laugh a little and watch ahead, ready for whatever life brought them.
“Hey... Asaz. If you keep zoning out like that you’ll fall off the battlement...” Damiana scolded, not unlike a mother, and tugged on the qunari’s belt scarf.
She jolted back to reality and looked over, blinking wide eyed. “Oh... huh, the long hours must be getting to me...”
“You just spent fourteen hours sleeping numbskull. I swear you head off to the Fade on these little daydreams with how lost you get...”
Asaz shuddered at the thought but offered a smirk, “No, just remembering you when we first met... so opposed to my flirting~”
Without missing a beat Damiana turned on her heel and threw up her hands. “Still opposed to your sappy romance shit you big oaf!” she called over her shoulder, actively trying to hide the pink that graced her cheeks. All that followed her was the laugh of her partner and what could only be a promise to prove her devotion later, without the need for flowery words.
