I've also been a volunteer for the Vox Populi Minecraft Community (og markiplier fans will remember this from Drunk Minecraft, but that was before my time lol) from 2014 to 2021+ where I was once a chat moderator and then a mod before being moved to Quality Assurance. :) I've helped brainstorm new ideas for plugins peoples might like, as well as helping find bugs/flaws in game so the GM's can fix them. I also play tested features that made VoxMC the great server that it was.
Sadly Zombiemold, the server owner, past away around Christmas in 2021. We still miss you to this day my friend. I hope you're resting well.

I feel like a mom on facebook reblogging this but I genuinely like it. I want to make this into a full size poster and put it in my 3rd grade classroom but Iām 20 yrs old and not a teacher
Well ya'll my shitty teeth are at it again! I recently broke another tooth and instead of going through another root canal/crown, I opted to have it pulled. It wasn't an easy choice, as it's a visible tooth but I felt I didn't have any other choice. I am self conscious about the missing tooth but it's not one of my very front teeth so I can survive the embarrassment in the short term.
And this is honestly, all because I've gotten a great dentist who is will to work with me, is compassionate to my situation and given me some more permanent options.
The best one is something called a implant supported bridge. It will allow me to replace booth my missing teeth, remove the two crowned teeth that have given me repeated trouble, and allow the wisdom that's caused all these problems to come in properly.
However, it's also a very expense fix and as I am a public librarian and part time naturalist, and neither of those things pay particularly well. For tooth removal, two implants, and my bridge I'm looking at about $12,000 after insurance. Which is...a lot! Good news is, as I said, my dentist is willing to work with me so there is not a tight timeline one getting together the funds and this would save me money( and a lot pain and a lot of stress which is, at this point worth it) in the long run.

So my family and I have made the decision that I will take family leave to help take care of my grandfather in hospice a few days a week. My job is being super accommodating and letting me cut down my days while keeping me listed as full time so I don't loose my benefits. However it does mean taking a significant pay cut for a little while, since my off days will be FMLA and my state doesn't pay leave. There is a chance his insurance may pay me as a caregiver, but I'm not waiting around for the paper work when he may not have the time for me to do that. So yeah, any help would be appreciated. When I had tried to send that phrase to someone recently in DM's, it wouldn't let me send it, so they're now likely trying to rewrite their script trying something else.

Reminder: When anyone make reports to tumblr, [tumblr] staff will never reply to your report telling you:
1- ANYTHING about the report, specifically what 'staff found wrong' with your account. Any real report from official Trust and Safety will NEVER specify things like this. Especially in the case of fraudulent activities or other related subjects.
2- that they (the person who reported you) needs to contact the user who was reported (you) to then instruct you to then contact fake tumblr staff via discord, whatsapp, telegram, ect in a specific time frame otherwise your account will be deleted/terminated.
Official [tumblr] staff does not use discord.
All correspondence related to account issues is done through tumblr's official email accounts which THEY will send YOU to YOUR email that is attached to YOUR tumblr account.
They will not tell OTHER USERS to DM YOU about THEIR report.
Please take a moment to breathe and think when people approach you with 'urgent matters' like this.

And this is bringing me such unbounded delight scrolling through and recognizing that I, a single individual, ALSO can order ridiculous obscene enormous offensive-to-all-common-sensibilities shipments of BULK FOOD, to my LITTLE LITTLE APARTMENT, for PENNIES on the dollar. I have this god given power to flood my entire living space with bulk grains and it is one single button click away from my reality.
30 POUNDS of chocolate for $100. 20 POUNDS of peas for $13?? $13!!!! I will wake up every single morning from now on knowing that a box of donuts and a sack of dried split peas heavy enough to bodily injure someone both carry equal monetary weight.Ā 25 POUNDS OF ONION POWDER for $50. it requires organizing for finance management, ordering, transport, and distribution, but if you build a stable mutual aid network, itās genuinely within the realm of possibility.

First of all, whether you have an uterus or uterine tissue in your body does not strictly depend on your chromosomes. Development of sexual organs depends on hormones, which may be triggered by a variety of factors beyond genetic ones. There are multiple recorded cases of people with XY chromosomes having developed uteruses.
Second, the literal signifying feature of endometriosis is uterine tissue growing in some place that's not the uterus. If you lack an uterus but end up growing uterine tissue, either by yourself or because the HRT you're on prompted you to, you by definition have endometriosis.
This whole debate is a good example why I hate "sex based oppression" and don't trust individuals who use that term. Belief in hardwired "sexes" does not reflect the reality. It's a hateful ideology.
The amount of protectiveness these people have for "female" experiences, the way they're treating the sex binary like their last defense line, is fucked up.
What gets me is that all this discourse is in response to a study about CIS MEN -- CIS MEN!! -- getting endometriosis, but it's being spun as "Those dastardly transes pretending to have endometriosis because they're Biologically Male Men pretending to be women!"

Body Horror: Things that cannot happen in real life.
EX: The Thing, stomach mouths, eyes on hands, etc
Gore: Fresh injuries, often severe.
EX: Severed leg, gutspill, deep gashes, etc
NEITHER: Healed injuries and burns, congenital differences, missing appendages, etc. If I could theoretically go to the store and see that character browsing the isles- It isn't body horror or gore. That's just a person.
*AND the amount of people that tag, not just fictional characters, but real human beings as body horror is staggering. Its not solely a fandom issue, ableism and bigotry against anyone that looks sufficiently "different" is prevalent in real life and has devastating consequences.
