reaganwarren: then Dipper, now a little wiser about what flirting looks like and is already more familiar with Gideon's ways of flirting than he ever was with any of his previous objects of affection, and then he starts getting suspicious about Gideon's intentions. Gideon out of the blue getting a "I'm never having sex with you" speech that ends up dumping a bit more of Dipper's insecurities than Dipper intended but he's nervous and trying to avoid getting his feelings hurt again and has worked himself up over it so he's kinda already upset, basically assuming Gideon will go back to not really talking to him after this.
fan-art-ic: Gideon is still interested though because sex isnt a necessary part of a healthy relationship
reaganwarren: yup! and Gideon also tries to help Dipper calm down 'cause he can tell Dipper's getting himself upset while he's breaking the news to him/ranting.
fan-art-ic: And even after Dipper has technically rejected him, Gideon has Ghost Eyes and his gang keep an eye out for Dipper around town to protect him
reaganwarren: *nods* and Dipper is actually really happy that Gideon still wants to be his friend after that conversation and maybe they eventually talk about maybe dating if the no sex thing is really okay for Gideon. but after, like, a while of mulling it over and thinking about how he feels about Gideon.
fan-art-ic: *also nods* Because Dipper is asexual but still biromantic(at least I headcannon)
reaganwarren: i accept this headcanon. also, Gideon totally being jealous of this fairly non-threatening biker dude who shows up one day and flirts a lot with Dipper in the gift shop until Stan walks over and goes "he ain't old enough for your bull, get out" (not that Dipper isn't an adult when this happens, but Stan's all "he's at least 40, holy Moses")
