Hello everyone! Just wanted to let y'all know that I'll be streaming my art over on Twitch for the very first time tomorrow. I'm not sure what time but I'll announce before I go live. I'm under the name littlemxmisfit as usual.
So I don't ever do these but I enjoyed the movie too much to not do one.
I just finished watching Wish and it is such a fucking good movie. I honestly believe it is one of Disney's best. I agree that the music could slightly be better but I actually really enjoyed the music, especially Chris Pine's songs.
But the story, oh my gods the story! I'm so fucking glad Disney made King Magnifico so evil. I was honestly expecting them to squander this opportunity to make him truly evil but they went even further than I thought. Maybe it's just me but I think crushing someone's wish is absolutely evil, no matter the reason. And for Disney to make wishes a physical thing that King Magnifico can touch in Wish made me audibly gasp and honestly made my heart break for an animated character during the wish crushing scenes. But it also made me absolutely hate him. I usually love bad guys, especially Disney villains. This is the first time where I do not like the villain for some reason or another. Chris Pine also did an amazing job at nailing the "I'm doing this all for you" nice guy persona.
And the art style! It was so beautiful! I just really enjoyed everything about this movie. It has instantly become a favorite. I can see why people didn't like it but for some reason it resonates with me. It hit a special spot, if that makes sense, and I like it.
Daily affirmation time! It'll be 2 since I didn't have time to do it yesterday.
I love my hands, my fingers are another story but my hands can be very steady when I want them to be. They're also small which makes getting things out of small holes easy.
I love my kindness. Sure it's broken my heart a few a times but I wouldn't change my being kind for anything in the world. In fact, the world could do with more kindness in it.
I'm so bad with daily posts lol but in my defense I've been busy with school.
So here's 3 things I live about myself:
My laugh, I'm not talking about my fake laugh that I do so I don't annoy everyone. I'm talking about my loud, snort laugh that's real and authentic.
My creativity, I don't get enough credit for my creativity.
My hair, yeah there are days where it's stubborn but I love it's wavyness and curls. I'm currently trying to grow it out for the first time in years and I've forgotten how much attitude it has. But I wouldn't trade it for any other hair type.
My smile is something I've always been fond of. Even if I can't show off my teeth(or lack thereof) I still love it. I've always thought it to be kind, inviting, and warm. It's also rather big when I'm actually happy which makes my eyes sparkle. So you can tell which photos I'm actually happy in by looking at my smile and especially my eyes.
Almost forgot about my daily affirmation, think I'll only do this for a month.
I've always secretly liked my nose. It's always been a source of bullying for the feminine people on my mother's side of the family. And, luckily, I was blessed with this nose. At first, when I was a child I couldn't see what my bullies where talking about. My nose is adorable, why are they making pig noises? But, like with everything else, their words would eventually poison my mind and I would start hating it for the insults others would make at me. It got to the point where I couldn't look in the mirror without making those same insults to myself. I've gotten better at being able to look at myself. Now I want to start loving myself for who I am, my nose is a big step into doing that.
Just a heads up, this'll be a serious post
I've been contemplating some things about my mental health lately. I'm turning 27 in a couple months and I'm just sick and tired of thinking badly about myself. Ever since I was a child I've been called fat and ugly by bullies and have been calling myself those words damn near everyday for as long as I can remember. But I don't know, now I just don't want to anymore. It's exhausting letting the bullies win when I'm almost 30 years old. So I've decided to do little affirmations on here and to myself about what I love about myself.
I'll start now, I've always loved my eyes. They're the color of the earth(brown if you're curious) and honestly I've always thought they looked cute.
Can all the porn bots stop following me? I'm asexual and not into that shit
