1. Gilgamesh absolutely hates spicy foods.

What got you into RP?

Well, it actually started after Anime Expo 2015. After being sucked into the Fate fandom, I decided to go through Tumblr for Fate stuff to reblog. I then came across @motherfuckingkingofheroes and all the stuff he blogs. 

It was love at first sight, and I discovered that there were more Fate RPers. Naturally, I wanted to RP as my OC, Kao the Hedgehog, but seeing as that wasn’t allowed, I decided to enter as the Twin Kaleidosticks. It’s been a pretty fun and awesome ride so far, and I owe it all to Moogs for making me join.

I recently saw that you were interested in running a sciencesideoftumblr blog. Have you made any progress towards that, because it sounds fascinating?

ah, sadly i have not made any progress with that, mostly because i’ve been so busy with school work! A lot of people messaged me though and I’m going to mention them in this ask/tag their urls so that maybe they will talk to each other and get it going. It’s just not something I can devote time to right now unfortunately.

well I’d like to think I’m not as depressed as I was last year, I’ve been slowly learning that just because I’m feeling anxious about things doesn’t mean I have to let that anxiety control me or dictate my whole life.

Mind: Do you make decisions easily?

No, I usually make decisions like *phase 1*  realize a descision needs to be made *phase 2* freak and think of all the horrible things that could happen if I make the wrong decision *phase 3* procrastinate *phase 4* panic because I procrastinated and am now running out of time *phase 5* make the safest choice at the last minute.

What's your fav kind of science and why? in a scale between 2^-20 and one trillion and seven how much do you love science? Science Science Science Science?

My Favourite kind of science is actually quantum information/computing. Closely followed by condensed matter. Quantum computing is SO COOL. I mean information is an actual physical property and, it should be possible to run a computer without any energy at all except the energy needed to display the stuff.

This is because information is entropy. So if we go back to the example of the messy room (a high entropy state) vs the TIdy Room (a Low entropy state), we can learn a lot from the mess of the room. An empty coffee cup or two shows that they frequently enjoy coffee in their room, an open book shows what they read and how far they’ve got, and so on. You know these things for certain, wheras a tidy room doesnt tell you anything at all. Are they clean? Is the Landlord Coming over so they’ve brought out the vacuum for its yearly airing, we dont know.

Now, at the quantum level, we can, say, split entropy into things which are ON the bed, and OFF the Bed. Since it takes a lot more energy to put everything ON the bed, the likely state that is “tidy” is when everything is on the floor. 0 Entropy. So, to go from the high entropy state (things are on the bed and the floor) to a low entropy state is to throw things off the bed. That RELEASES about as much energy as it Takes to Cram everything onto the floor!

Which is amazing! Because it shows that, say, a Tablet Quantum computer could be run off… the heat coming of someone’s skin (if Displays got that efficient), because it takes 0 net energy to do the calculations (which is the setting up and deleting of these entropy states, the creaton and destruction of information).
