It was anything but frequent that Loki found himself in the realm of the mortals. Midgard was not his favorite of places to visit when leaving the familiarity of his home world.
Still, it was sometimes necessary to simply get away from all things common and usual to his life, including the people in it. It was for that reasons that, while it was not frequent, it was not unheard of to find Loki in Midgard, as he now was. it was a place he at times found himself, where his face was not easily recognized, and where his pretentious clout as Odin’s son drew no extra attention, as it did in any of the other realms.
Currently, he found himself in the center of New York City, a great hub of mortal activity and life, though he tended to avoid the busier bustling sections of it. It was one of those spots in the universe where things hummed with the sound of being alive even without the presence of the mortals who made up that life, and he took solace in walking the edge of Central Park, quietly lost in his thoughts.
