Sky & Sun - Because he literally lived in the sky. Sun because the sun kind of sort of gives life the everything (even though the sun is Sol and Sun (Zelda) is Hylia). It makes sense in my head. Also Sky and Sun go hand in hand :)
Clover & Dot - Clover because they are four (technically 6) pieces of themself and it just fits. Dot is short for Odette, which is her middle name (Zelda Odette Hyrule). After all the women being named "Zelda" it gets kind of tiring. She is changing her name from Zelda to Odette. The Colours themselves are self-explanatory, but I'm thinking of changing them to actual names (ex. Red would be Sorrel or Amber).
Ocarina & Sheik - Malon suggested Ocarina because of Saria, NOT because of the Ocarina of Time. Ocarina is to remember Saria and the Kokori. Sheik is Sheik (Zelda found out he was more comfortable as a boy and is now Sheik :) ).
Twilight & Dusk - For obvious reasons, although Wolfie was because of Wild and Wind. Dusk just fits her aesthetic.
Legend and Fable - Legend wanted something cool (he wanted to match his sister), and in Triforce Heroes, there are records of the Hero of Legend (which is him). Fable is her middle name (Zelda Fable Hyrule).
Mage & Morning & Dawn - Mage is because they jumpscared everyone within a 5 mile radius by using the Lightning Spell because they thought the Links were going to kill them (poor baby). Mage was originally going to be Legend's name, but I liked his and Fable's matching names better. Morning is the Zelda that was slapped with some spell to sleep for idek for how long (also "Morning" sounds like "Mourning", which is what she is doing for her lost friends and family). Dawn was named by Morning because she was "the dawn of Hyrule's new era" which is basically making life better.
Wind & Tetra - Wind because Wind and Tetra because Tetra.
Spirit & Phantom - Spirit. Phantom because she literally was one and likes to be scary.
Captain & Artemis - Captain because. Well I actually don't know other than he is a captain. Artemis because she has a bow. and is a lesbian (I know Artemis isn't a lesbian, she's like aroace or something, but she is surround by her female hunters. I actually wonder if she would accept nonbinary ppl (Percy Jackson)).
Rift & Echo - Rift likes rifts because they're fun to try and solve, but also hates them because now they can't speak (they're taking lesson and slowly getting better tho!!). Echo because Echo uses Echoes which are echoes of monsters. Yeah.
Cadence of Hyrule Link and Zelda need names (maybe after instruments?).
Wild & Flora - Wild because they are literally a feral creature, and Flora because she has a teensy tiny obsession with plants. Also names match.
Age & Unity - I actually want to change Age but I have no idea what it should be. Unity because she got her stuff together and actually says it, I don't remember where though.
Dink/Dark - Dink is before both parties actually met and talked things out to make fun of him, and Dark is the name Wild calls him, which the others took to too.
