(Out of curiosity, has Simon ever cut his fingers on the bowblade's string?)

he doesn’t wear gloves in his harrowed set, so I think that’s a definitely from me!  maybe when he was still with the church and hunting outside of disguise, he’d don the traditional garb and actually have something between his fingers and a string that he’s going to draw and release ad infinitum. but typically? no.  hence the occasional cut and not to mention the calluses.  more on the effect of a near lifetime of shooting arrows on Simon’s body... his shoulders? and back muscles? fucked. his left shoulder is higher than his right shoulder and slightly more muscular. if he was shirtless and you saw him draw? you’d be surprised at how defined the muscles are on his back! (it’s kinda the inverse of his shoulder, the right side of his back is slightly more muscular than the left)

Oddly enough, beauty will only get so much from him. Yes, he does appreciate a good-looking person, but... would he tolerate being around them for that much time? Not without a personality to actually keep him interested. Then, could he be with someone who isn’t conventionally attractive, but has a personality he genuinely likes? Yes, absolutely. Perhaps even fall in love with them. He’d joke (quite inanely) about how he can be pretty for both of them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean... he’s vain as hell. Granted, more so in a way that relies on charisma, rather than physical embellishments. That said, the lack of resources in Yharnam won’t really leave that many options...? Just plain running water seems to be a luxury. So, well, comfy in dirty worn-out clothes it is!

During his time in Cainhurst, yes, he would’ve tried to look his best most of the time... but not always. That willingness to drop the fair facade stands out as a significant token of trust and love on his part.
