“You are far from home,” Scar paused for a moment, not familiar with this cub, but it wasn’t hard to guess where she came from and the Outlands wasn’t it. “I have every right to keep an eye on you when you are trespassing.”

   “Yes, well... I don’t know if you can’t tell, but I’m pretty sure all of this land is mine. I am the future Queen, after all!” Kiara didn’t know who this other lion was, but he was definitely trying to overstep her, and she couldn’t let that happen. Ignoring her instincts that she should probably be wary, and maybe recall the words of warning from everyone else, but these Outlands were absolutely dangerous. Being the Princess, she thought she could handle everything and anything! It wasn’t a bother to her if this one was a little grumpy over her trespassing into these lands. “You don’t have to keep any eyes on me.” With her tail jutting in the air, she slowly started to trot on off, wanting to see more of this place. | @ashinynewera |

Oh how I hate when people woobie-fy villains. That's one thing that has driven me off villain characters before. People excusing them. Don't do that to Scar!

I’m pretty sure more people do that to Scar than any other Disney villain (and the remake and The Lion Guard have only made it worse)

Being defiant against Scar, the current King of Pride Rock due to Mufasa and Simba’s death, wasn’t a great idea, but she wouldn’t believe he was the rightful King, not at all. When she came to address the situation of food, one thing turned to another and she had told him he’d never be a true King, and that’s when she saw stars for a moment from the hit to the side of her face.

A low growl left her, and she felt a strange wetness on the right side of her face. Bringing her paw up she swiped at it and saw it was blood, not a lot but it was still present. Putting said paw down she glared at the lion. “How dare you.”

Although she was her own lioness, yes, she still had to report anything suspicious she saw to the Pride. Callula had decided to go her own way and try and find something to do until the lionesses gathered for their hunting, and the last thing she expected to see was Scar with a small pack of hyenas. In some strange way, the sight of the hyenas made her stomach quietly growl, but she kept her restraint.

She kept her wits about her and dug her claws into the dirt. “I don’t know what you were up to with filthy animals like that, no less food, but Mufasa won’t be happy.”

   An eyebrow arched in confusion. An unfamiliar voice reverberated through her ears. Her body immediately switched over into fight or flight mode. Dark brown hues shifted left and right in an endeavor to locate where the sound was coming from. Had she been spotted by some of the guards? It seemed like it was more difficult nowadays to escape her visually elegant yet literal prison that was the sultan’s palace. She immediately ran towards the green prickly bush in front of her and ducked, throwing her scarf over her head. She peeked her head out from the side to look out into the forest. Unfortunately, there was nothing suspicious in her visage that she could notice. There was only tall trees and overgrown bushes scattered throughout the area with vines here and there.
