also i'm pretty sure it's canon that they couldn't take out all of the student's bionics, but i do like the idea that they could've and it would've even been better for all of them in the long run because none of those kids were actually built to handle their bionics, but donald and douglas barely even considered doing that because it would've taken a lot of time and energy like building an entire island and training them all wouldn't and having more bionic soldiers would help the world in the long run (also it would lighten the load on adam, chase, and bree's shoulders)

with the idea of the davenports (at least, donald, douglas, and chase) hiding the possibility of getting rid of their bionics this would give sebastian a better reason to start the bionic rebellion (i don't think he would want to get rid of his bionics tho) because chase and him would still end up friends and maybe chase accidentally shares it with him though he doesn't think it's a big deal but it sure is!
