Blade rant P.2

i am soso excited for ashblade interactions. ashveil by himself is already such a deep character i've been loving him thus far [I also hope to get some content of my goat rappa she needs screentime.] ashblade's dynamic give me sherlock and watson vibes sort of, i find that really cool.

i saw the sherlock holmes movies long time ago, but in a way, ashveil is the eccentric detective [cmon he sleeps in a fridge.] and blade's the 'war doctor' that watson was. he aided in fights by crafting weapons, not to mention how now he's a swordsman himself now, moreover watson in the movies, if i remember correctly, or i may just be ranting for the sake of it, couldn't live normally after being in war, he subconciously seeked out chaos, chaos that sherlock provided him with.

they BOTH weren't normal and found themselves to be companions. just like blade seeks out death, ashveil seeks death too. now, i don't think death is the best ending solution for their characters obviously, speaking for blade, he needs to come to terms with himself and craft himself a meaning again, not as a weapon but as of what he wants to do, to be able to die meaningfully.

i can't wait for their interactions i really really hope i get fed. [but it matters not as i will write fanfictions of them anyway.]

on another note, i've seen some people complaining about new blade ships which i don't get at all (ㅠ﹏ㅠ) [I am an og renheng fan since release, just for clarification, i know just how important dan heng is to blade. im also an ashren fan, as well as a sunren one.] I have a feeling some people are shackling blade to only dan heng, which is not fair at all.

i hope hoyo gives more crumbs about blade by himself rather than connected to dan heng, and again, i really love how they both represent one side of a coin, both of them were trapped by fate in some way but they had different way of dealing with it/moving forward. platonically speaking, no matter if you see it as romantic or not, they can really understand one another.

but why can't i see blade outside of that perspective T-T.

dan heng is really more free in terms of both his fate and the way the fandom treats him than blade, which is ironic because yingxing has been going against what was believed of him both in canon and i feel like that's how his character feels like in fanon too.

[alas i know this is a gacha game and i cannot unfortunately see him at every second of the game. but i find funny and both frustrating that the majority of his content revolves around dan heng both in game and outside of it.] the way he will have character development, in my opinion, is when blade will stray away from dan heng.

before 4.x came out i really thought blade would be aimless during planarcadia, because what would he be meant to do, if he just had to wait to die alongside dan heng for their 'sin'? i think his development is supposed to be a search for what he wants to do by himself. now that we know that elio gave him a blank script, i really think it's going in that way too, morelike i really hope so.

He needs to have himself first. he has to find himself through interacting with other things. like with the stellaron hunters in a silly context. I also wish to see him interact with other characters like, his interactions with jing yuan were far too FEW. maybe we will have some past flashbacks, i really am hoping because i need to see yingxing's dynamic within the high cloud quintet. also jingliu interactions with him, i need them.

anyway. 4 days till drip marketing (╥ ᴗ ╥).
