Bluegale gives birth to a single kit, a noisy tom named Violetkit!

A rogue named Splinter decides to join the clan! While the newcomers before her have taken on more clan-like names, Splinter decided that she likes her name as it is!

Hawthornnight and Sootback are seen enjoying a moonlit stroll together.

LONGEST one-parter moon I’ve done so far and to be honest, I could’ve made it easier on myself by splitting it up in parts, but I’d rather make myself suffer it seems 🥹!

Anywayyy, say hello to the newest member of the clan! Some of you might remember Splinter from Moon 5! Insane to think that she’s back after so long. I ended up changing her design to something more my liking.

Oh and Violetkit!! I just realized a year since he was born in-game that he and his mom’s name kinda match haha. Both are cool colors and violet is made after blue is mixed with red 🥺! Also his eyes are heather-blue, which is kinda purple and you know, Bluegale’s eyes are blue? You get what I’m saying 😭!

Moon Events:

Sapflow, Bluegale, and Loudpeak become ill after eating tainted prey. While Bluegale and Loudpeak make swift recoveries, Sapflow’s health deteriorates drastically and he passes away at the age of 79 moons old.

Snowflower and Icystar are ambushed by a dog! Icystar’s leg is broken in the encounter and, unfortunately, Snowflower is killed. He was 39 moons old.

Wow! What’s a TallClan year without another founder dying and the clan struggling to keep their numbers afloat! And I’m sure Loudpeak, who just became deputy last moon at 13 moons old, is going to recover just fine from this traumatic change in his life!

Moon 28 - Summer

MOON EVENTS:

A strict warrior from LogClan, 94-moon-old Cherrysnow, has joined the clan to be with Stonerun, his mate.

Ashspeck thinks her dreams might not come true with Hawthornnight.

Oh boy, there’s a lot I want to say about this moon, but first and foremost, welcome Cherrysnow! As many remember, he was designed by @drownthesun-gen who won the design contest I held a few months back!

In-game, he actually joined on Moon 29, but I decided to introduce him earlier, because, well, this was the only note I had written down for Moon 28…

This was the one event that first inspired me to want to seriously dedicate myself to a ClanGen comic + blog. Heck, I even drew it shortly after it happened in-game! Look at this piece from May of 2025!

I remember in-game trying to pair up Ashspeck and Hawthornnight together via mediation, but Hawthornnight WAS not interested ToT!!! Turns out, she had a crush on Ashspeck’s sister instead 🥲!

Moon 25 - Spring: Part 2

Moon Events:

Loudpaw and Ashpaw earned their warrior names at 13 moons old. Honored for his determination, Loudpaw is named Loudpeak! He still remains insecure as ever and Icystar can only hope he outgrows this as he steps into his new role as deputy. Meanwhile, Ashpaw is honored for her boldness as she is named Ashspeck! She has gone from charismatic to daring!

Despite still being confined to the healer’s den with her injury, 14-moon-old Hawthornpaw is made a warrior alongside the two littermates. Honored for her intrigue, she is named Hawthornnight! Her childish nature is still intact despite recent events.

One of the downsides of having a clan be led by a dynasty is that sometimes the position of deputy is fulfilled by an insecure 13-moon-old with little life and no leadership experience…

hope this isn't too spoiler but in the cut icystar reaction she mentions demoting loud as her heir, who would she choose instead in that hypothetical universe

As the second oldest, the title of heir would automatically go to Ashspeck. She hasn’t had as extensive leader training as Loudpeak, but I imagine she’s been trained in the scenario if something were to happen to Loudpeak or if he doesn’t have an heir by the time he does become leader, then Ashspeck would serve as his heir until further notice.

If you don't mind answering, what does Ashspeck think about what Loudpeak said? How much did she overhear?

Ashspeck didn’t hear anything from the conversation. Only thing she heard was the moment Hawthornnight and Loudpeak were fighting (at first assumed that Hawthorn had run into trouble with a trespasser).

She learned what happened later once everyone calmed down and they were back at camp, where Hawthornnight would explain what she had heard and her reasoning for attacking the clan’s leader heir.

After that, Ashspeck talked to Loudpeak in private to get his side of the story and well, he basically told her everything that had happened prior to Hawthornnight’s arrival (plus some venting about his feelings towards Sootback).

Ashspeck’s feelings about the whole thing are… complicated. She thinks it’s shitty what Loudpeak said to their sister and she’s mad that he told Sootback about her crush, which she had confided to him in secret shortly after last moon’s events (although to almost everyone it’s kinda obvious 😭). She doesn’t know how much Hawthornnight had overheard before the “I wish you were dead” part and feels too nervous to bring it up, so now things are awkward between the two of them. And on top of that, things are also awkward between her and Sootback and neither has the courage to break the ice, further straining their relationship.
