I'm excited, I think I have my Ashton Graymoore fandragon!

The gold veins unfortunately aren't super prominent when I put his clothes on because the Metals tert makes the outlines more silver-y, but I did get my initial goal which was to most closely match their skin tone and shading to the original character art, since that was the outfit I was going to try to mimic.

I think he's actually meant to be a little bit darker based on the second official portrait, but whatever. FR doesn't have a color/gene combo that comes as close to that tone as it does the super highlighted one in the first character portrait.

Also if I tried to copy his second outfit I'd probably want something to represent their replacement arm, and none of the versions of FR's arm enhancement apparel have the black/orange color scheme that would match.

I also have five of their siblings that didn't have the primary color I wanted for him. Like the dragon I'm keeping, they would need to be re-gened (though all of them are already Earth-element Wildclaws), but I'm willing to take offers for the siblings from anyone who wants a fandragon without having to do a breeding project.

I’ve seen multiple posts and tags float by that indicate that their respective OPs are under the impression that it was Milo who gave the Nobodies the job to rob Hexum’s place, and like, okay, I had to rewatch that part of ep.10 before I even realized that ‘right, you could interpret Ashton’s explanation as such, I suppose, sure’, but also? He never plainly states that it was Milo, which btw, I don’t see why he wouldn’t tell them at this point if that was the case.

I understand there’s an argument along the lines of ‘well if the job went sideways how come he was still able to get the gold for it?’, which okay, fair, I... I have nothing to argue against that one.

In fairness, I’ll admit, I’m biased because I don’t like the theory, idk why don’t come for me this isn’t shade y’all do you, like fr. I think it’s smth to do with how despite their best efforts to tetris Ashton back together, our lovely barbarian is still gonna be disabled for life. Guy’s got a permanent hole in his skull, a milky eye and is a walking kintsugi piece, I mean... like if this theory proves to be true and Ashton considers it a sufficient repayment for the shit Milo made him and the Nobodies go through, good for him but you don’t get to harm my boy like that. (again: i’ll be the last person to start actual shit over headcanons and y’all theorizing, pls do not come for me, i repeat)

But at the same time I can’t help but think of how, for example, we never got the full story of wtf was up with Nott/Veth until like ep.49 last time, and how we’re honestly kinda in the dark still with these new folks, as talkative they seem to be compared to the MN. I feel like despite everything we’ve heard so far, we know fuck all

Edit: Also, since some ppl have done the loose but likely accurate math: that also means Milo did all that at approx. age 13. Now I know a lot of weird shit happens in dnd but lbr folks. I can imagine a 13 year old doing fucked up science tetris with an earth genasi but there are limits to how much crime i anticipate from a 13 year old
