Ashton brought Wisteria over the next morning.
"Oh look at how darling your winter outfit is sweetie". "Let's go upstairs and you can play with Burgundy and his toys".
Winter came back downstairs after making sure Wisteria was all settled in.
"Winnie my muse my love, thank you for taking Wisteria for the day she doesn't have any other family and I hate that she has to go to the daycare so often".
"It's no problem before long we will all be one big happy family". "What time will you be back"?
"Around 3:00pm".
Winter gave their fiancé a kiss and wished him safe travels and fun.
*4:30pm*
Winter was staring out the window and wondering where Ashton was when they got a call from a police officer.
"Hi, is this Winter Berry".
"Yes it is sir may I ask why you're calling me".
"Well it pains me to be the one to deliver such bad news but the snow storm has arrived a lot quicker than everyone expected and the 3 men who were on that mountain were swept away". "Their bodies were found in a mangled mess with only their ID's to identify them. "Winter, one of those men were Ashton Ray".
Winter hung up the phone and crawled into bed numbly. Several hours went by and Winter got out of bed because they needed to talk to Wisteria, that baby had lost her only family member and if Wisteria wanted, Winter would gladly adopt her.
"Wisteria, honey come here sweetheart, I have something I have to tell you".
Snuggling up to Winter, Wisteria gave them the biggest eyes ever.
"Baby, your dad was in a accident and he unfortunately didn't make it".
"Like my mama".
Winter couldn't believe how much tragedy this little girl had gone through.
"Yes, sweetie like your mama". "I know this is sudden but I would love to still have you join our family if you want".
"So, I can still be your child".
Winter let out a sob laugh.
"Yes baby you can still be my daughter".
With tears in their eyes, Winter signed on the dotted line and officially adopted Wisteria. They then led their daughter down the hall to a spare bedroom.
"I'm sorry its kind of bare right now but tomorrow maybe we can go furniture shopping".
As if the night couldn't get any worse Winter found out they were pregnant.
It's Friday after school which means Prince can now hop on a plane and visit his dad for the weekend!!! Prince lands safely in Oasis Springs and grabs a ride to his father's house. Everyone was so happy to see each other, especially Princeton who gave him a bracelet buddies high-five.
After doing their homework together, the family decided to play don't wake the llama until dinner was ready. Prince won 2/3 games while his dad won the last one.
Meanwhile back at Mt. Komorebi the lovebirds were having a sleepover and cuddling while watching a movie.
"Winter, I have a favor to ask you". "Tomorrow my friends want to do a mountain climbing event for my bachelor party and I was wondering if you could look after Wisteria for me".
"Oh, darling I would love to spend more time with Wisteria but isn't the snowstorm coming in tomorrow".
"The boys insist we go and they claim we will be done before it hits".
"Well, then why don't we take this little sleepover to my room if you catch my drift".
That night the two lovebirds had woohoo together for the first time.
