September’s Stars
@ashtree1165 - we’re still in hannibal land! because ashley is yet another lovely, lovely mutual that i was first introduced to through hannibal, but we’ve both stuck around for a lot together. going my way? is probably the most “aesthetically” blog i follow, and it’s just a joy to scroll through, with a lot of pretty, pretty pictures perfectly mixed up with #relatable content and political posts. ashley also has a wickedly good taste in music, and you should all check out her music tag. and she’s honestly too cool to be my mutual, but somehow here we are, and you should all go ahead and give her a follow and hope that some of her coolness rubs off on you!
@ferventrabbit - aaaaaah!! okay, so ferventrabbit found me through my sleep-deprived/mania induced idea of a hannibal/princess mononoke au, and then she actually?? started writing it??? and i fell head over heels in love????? and tbh i still haven’t fallen out and just gosh i love you. so yes! ferventrabbit is a fannibal, but a wretched hive of scum and villainy is very much a multifandom blog. and she’s just the loveliest and nerdiest little bean, who deserves all your love.

Tell us about Thaddeus Kosciuszk?
Tadeusz Kosciuszko was a skilled engineer who studied art/painting in college. He offered his services to the American revolutionary cause and masterminded a key British defeat at Saratoga, as well as oversaw the building of military fortifications at West Point. After the war, he returned to Poland and led an unsuccessful uprising against the nation’s partition by Russia and other foreign powers. After several years of imprisonment in Russia, Kosciuszko returned to the United States, where he was welcomed as a hero and counted Thomas Jefferson and James Monroe among his close friends. Kosciuszko died in exile from Poland in Switzerland in 1817.
So my prof casually insinuated that G Wash may be the father of one of Abigail Adams' kids. Didn't say which one, didn't elaborate at all. Any way u can clear this up my guy? Any sources?
I have no idea what is going through your professors head. I will bet my life that he never fathered one of her children. Your professor should elaborate and provide his sources because I can find absolutely no proof.
Can u link me to this ATY article I'm hearing about?

1. Hi, how’s your day going?
It’s going great!! It’s kinda late, I’m preparing to head off to bed. It’s been a good day, I’ve been productive, a miracle I know, I FIGURED OUT HOW TO SEND A PACKAGE ON THE POST. I’m prepared for our study visit tomorrow, I’m on top of my schoolwork (it is literally just the third day, but I take anything I can get), and I’ve finally settled back home in the dorm now. So yeah. It’s been a good day.
2. What kind of socks are you wearing?
I’m not wearing any socks! Barefoot type of person.
3. You have the opportunity to visit a random planet, the trip will take less than a day (future tech, idk) and it’s for free for some reason, which planet do you choose?
I’ve always had a weak spot for Venus, and I honestly have no idea what’s it about?? I don’t know if it’s the feminist part of me, or the sapphic part, but I’ve just always unconsciously loved Venus. It’s really hecking unpleasant on Venus, and it would probably not be a fun visit, but I simply cannot pick anything other than Venus.
4. What’s your middle name?
Karolina and Helen. Helen is a family name on my mother’s side of the family and Karolina is from my paternal grandmother.
5. Fave beverage?
Mom’s rhubarb and strawberry punch. If I could, I would live on it.
6. What are you listening to atm?
Dearly departed by Marianas Trench.
7. How’s your hair today?
Decent? Haven’t had to really do much with it today, so it hasn’t been a hustle.
8. A really really good book?
UNWIND. U N W I N D. LIA YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD READ UNWIND AND I WILL NOT STOP BUGGING YOU ABOUT IT UNTIL YOU HAVE.
9. Where are you right now?
In my dorm room.
10. Coffee, tea or hot chocolate? (and what kind?)
Aah! Depends. Never coffee. But hot chocolate in the winter. Nothing beats a big, steaming cup of hot chocolate after a long snowball fight. But tea generally. A nice cup of tea in the autumn mist almost nearly beats a cup of hot chocolate in the winter. And I’m an all drinker when it comes to tea, you can basically put any kind of leaf water in front of me, and as long as it’s hot I’ll probably drink it.
11. What would you name a potential future kid (your own our a friend’s our whatever, for some reason you’ve been picked to name a child ok)?
Helena or Hugo. This is set in stone, and I’m sorry future spouse, but you have no say in the matter.
My questions;
What do you want to do when you grow up?
What’s the nicest compliment you’ve ever received?
The last time a fictional character made you cry?
Favorite type of candy?
What’s the three things on top of your head that makes you happy?
A book that changed your life?
Favorite weird fact?
A law you would break without a moment’s hesitation?
Any hidden talents?
Someone/something you will defend with your life?
Are we spiritual beings on a human journey, or human beings on a spiritual journey?
