These Asian barbecue chicken wings are bursting with flavor and perfect for any occasion. The marinade combines the richness of hoisin sauce with the savory depth of soy sauce and the sweetness of honey, balanced with garlic, ginger, and a hint of sriracha for some heat. Grilling gives the wings a delicious charred exterior while keeping them juicy and tender inside.
Ingredients: 2 lbs chicken wings. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup hoisin sauce. 2 tbsp honey. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp ginger, grated. 2 tbsp rice vinegar. 1 tbsp sesame oil. 1 tsp sriracha sauce optional. 2 green onions, thinly sliced for garnish. Sesame seeds for garnish.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sriracha sauce. Add chicken wings to a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and grill for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and nicely charred. Transfer the grilled wings to a serving platter, garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
