Apollo Twins Layer Cake Coconut & Pandan 🥥🌴 . As I didn’t know what pandan exactly is, I was curious to try this sort of layer cake. Although the picture on the package shows a coconut filling between two pandan layers, you only see the pandan but barely coconut. The cake looks kindashort, dry and crumbling, not what I expected. Nevertheless it tastes better than how it looks like 😅. It’s quite soft, not too sweet and fluffy, I can’t remember whether I could notice the pandan or not but I really appreciate the green color 😁. Glico Double Pretz Strawberry Milk Flavor 🍓🥛 . Never seen a double pretz version before and found this one quite interesting. I was expecting those sticks to have two different flavors with one side having a glaze but it turned out to be an ordinary stick mixed with strawberry pieces which you can easily spot (switch to the next picture). After opening the package you’re gonna notice a strong scent like strawberry milkshake. I think those pretz were so delicious, it had a rich and natural strawberry taste. I could recognize the milk or cheesecake whatever by the creamy texture. It was both crispy and ‘full-bodied’ somehow 😅. Couldn’t resist and ate all at the same time 🙈😍. Ferrero duplo Chocnut 🍫🌰 . Reviewing a non asian product this time. I wouldn’t say it’s a German snack bc Ferrero is an Italian brand I guess. This is sth like a chocolate wafer bar with a hazelnut cocoa spread or cream and whole hazelnuts in each bubble. The shape reminds me of ‘bueno’, another hazelnut based chocolate wafer snack from the same brand. (Seems like Europeans love hazelnuts, right? 😂) I actually found this one pretty good, I love the combination of chocolate and nuts, especially when there are whole nuts included. The wafer outside is crispy and airy plus the chocolate glaze outside not too thick. The thing I don’t like and this is the reason I wouldn’t necessarily want to try it again is the chocolate cream inside. That makes the whole bar too sweet and I don’t get why you still have to fill in MORE chocolate although there’s already chocolate outside 👀😅. I’d always scratch out the cream, using it as a spread for bread 😆. Another maybe less sweet filling would be much better here. Comparing this one with ‘bueno’ I’ve mentioned before, I’d definitely prefer ‘bueno’ cause the cream inside is nougat instead. Bika Honey Crab Flavoured Crackers 🍯🦀 . The combination of honey and crab was sounding truly delicious so I tried them. They have a half rounded shape which remind me of a shell or that Pokémon Omanyte 😆. Despite the look, the crackers didn’t taste airy but a little hard which is not a negative point but bc of the shape it’s not so easy chewing on them. It feels like having to bite every single cracker off due to the hard edges. The taste was really savory, for me already a bit too salty. I think the saltiness didn’t come from the crab cuz you couldn’t taste crab (or at least I didn’t notice that much) but sth else. There was a slightly glaze on the surface which possibly should intend honey but I couldn’t taste sweetness at all. Moreover, several crackers were a little darker and left a burnt aftertaste. I would probably not buy this again, maybe only at half the price.
