Alternative packaging ideas to wrap your Christmas gifts more eco-friendly: . Don’t buy any new gift supplies unless it’s unavoidable. Use what you already have at home, for example old wrapping paper which you have hopefully stored from last year. Some people might hate when others open their present as cautious as possible, trying not to destroy the paper (like me), but you know you are doing this for a good cause. Be creative and innovative. In my case I have used sheets from prior magazines such as an old Edition of the architectural digest mag. I tried to choose illustrations with jewels and patterns with matching colors, Making the design look more elegant and not cheap. Therefore reuse as much as possible. Even the boxes are old ones from cookies, chocolate etc. I also have too many nail polishes which already set a layer on the surface so these are suitable for decorating wrap paper or greeting cards as well. Another amazing idea would be to use cloth, for instance a scarf. How do you guys feel about environmentally sustainable packaging? Do you however prefer the classic Christmas wrapping supplies, or would you consider utilize unconventional materials? In my opinion something different from the ordinary Xmas designs makes the gift more special and exclusive, No matter whether it’s Christmas or not. Nivea Zarte Köpfe Beruhigend - Produkttest

Ich durfte von Nivea das neue Shampoo Zarte Köpfe Beruhigend testen. Hier meine Erfahrungen:

Bei mir hat das Shampoo teilweise gewirkt, zumindest hatte ich nicht das Gefuehl, dass meine Kopfhaut wie bei anderen Shampoos sehr juckt, vielleicht minimal. Der Duft ist auch klasse und nicht zu penetrant. Was mich aber davon abhaelt, dieses wieder zu kaufen, ist dass ich vom Endergebnis meiner Haare nicht ueberzeugt war. Nach dem Foehnen hat sich mein Haaransatz irgendwie klebrig angefuehlt und sah nicht ganz frisch aus, was mich ungemein gestoert hat. Außerdem waren meine Haare an den Spitzen schwer kaemmbar. Was ebenfalls nicht zufriedenstellend war, ist dass fuer mich das Shampoo zu wenig geschäumt hat. Generell kann ich sagen, dass mein vorheriges Shampoo all diese Dinge besser gemeistert hat, auch wenn die Kopfhaut danach mehr kribbelte. Das ist auch der Grund, weshalb ich dieses Shampoo von Nivea nur ok finde. 

Fazit: 3/5 Sterne

Apollo Twins Layer Cake Coconut & Pandan 🥥🌴 . As I didn’t know what pandan exactly is, I was curious to try this sort of layer cake. Although the picture on the package shows a coconut filling between two pandan layers, you only see the pandan but barely coconut. The cake looks kindashort, dry and crumbling, not what I expected. Nevertheless it tastes better than how it looks like 😅. It’s quite soft, not too sweet and fluffy, I can’t remember whether I could notice the pandan or not but I really appreciate the green color 😁. Kitkat Strawberry Cheesecake 🍓🍰 . Look at this cute packaging, so adorable! 😍 This Kitkat package is included in September’s @japancrate subscription box, I bought it a while ago in Frankfurt. Each piece is covered with either a penguin, polar bear or a seal. Well, since I’ve already tried the usual KitKat strawberry flavor, I was wondering if this one tastes different. I’ve noticed that both flavors are quite similar, the strawberry cheesecake one is just much sweeter and more ‘milky’. Furthermore I think you can’t expect a chocolate bar to taste like cheesecake 😂. All in all I’d personally prefer the ordinary strawberry version bc its strawberry flavor is way stronger and the chocolate less sweet. However I’d possibly buy the cheesecake version again, at least it wasn’t bad and I can’t resist such an amazing packaging haha 😅. Glico Double Pretz Strawberry Milk Flavor 🍓🥛 . Never seen a double pretz version before and found this one quite interesting. I was expecting those sticks to have two different flavors with one side having a glaze but it turned out to be an ordinary stick mixed with strawberry pieces which you can easily spot (switch to the next picture). After opening the package you’re gonna notice a strong scent like strawberry milkshake. I think those pretz were so delicious, it had a rich and natural strawberry taste. I could recognize the milk or cheesecake whatever by the creamy texture. It was both crispy and ‘full-bodied’ somehow 😅. Couldn’t resist and ate all at the same time 🙈😍. Ferrero duplo Chocnut 🍫🌰 . Reviewing a non asian product this time. I wouldn’t say it’s a German snack bc Ferrero is an Italian brand I guess. This is sth like a chocolate wafer bar with a hazelnut cocoa spread or cream and whole hazelnuts in each bubble. The shape reminds me of ‘bueno’, another hazelnut based chocolate wafer snack from the same brand. (Seems like Europeans love hazelnuts, right? 😂) I actually found this one pretty good, I love the combination of chocolate and nuts, especially when there are whole nuts included. The wafer outside is crispy and airy plus the chocolate glaze outside not too thick. The thing I don’t like and this is the reason I wouldn’t necessarily want to try it again is the chocolate cream inside. That makes the whole bar too sweet and I don’t get why you still have to fill in MORE chocolate although there’s already chocolate outside 👀😅. I’d always scratch out the cream, using it as a spread for bread 😆. Another maybe less sweet filling would be much better here. Comparing this one with ‘bueno’ I’ve mentioned before, I’d definitely prefer ‘bueno’ cause the cream inside is nougat instead. RI-Ö Thai Jasmine Rice Snack Coconut 🥥🌴 . This can of sweet corn puffs contains 55g, not that much but one puff is really huge actually, comparing to ordinary peanut corn puffs (switch to the other picture). Those coconut puffs seem to be very fluffy at first sight, even the scent of coconut smells delicious. You can see a thin glaze and grated coconut pieces on top. I have to admit, those puffs are much better than I expected. They’re so airy and light like caramel corn and not too sweet. You’re gonna recognize a strong coconut flavor with a little hint of salt. It tastes so delicious, reminding me of caramel corn but on another level. There’s nothing to criticize - just mouth-watering and addictive! 😍🤤 I still gotta try the other flavors. Bika Honey Crab Flavoured Crackers 🍯🦀 . The combination of honey and crab was sounding truly delicious so I tried them. They have a half rounded shape which remind me of a shell or that Pokémon Omanyte 😆. Despite the look, the crackers didn’t taste airy but a little hard which is not a negative point but bc of the shape it’s not so easy chewing on them. It feels like having to bite every single cracker off due to the hard edges. The taste was really savory, for me already a bit too salty. I think the saltiness didn’t come from the crab cuz you couldn’t taste crab (or at least I didn’t notice that much) but sth else. There was a slightly glaze on the surface which possibly should intend honey but I couldn’t taste sweetness at all. Moreover, several crackers were a little darker and left a burnt aftertaste. I would probably not buy this again, maybe only at half the price. Oreo Strawberry Cheesecake 🍓🍰 . Finally found another flavor at a German grocery! I know this one is actually not really new but it always takes a long time until you get a product with an exceptional flavor (even though strawberry isn’t extraordinary at all) so I was glad to try another cream filling which isn’t too boring like those standard flavors (milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate 😑🙄). The strawberry filling was not to heavy or thick and you could easily take the cookies apart without having too much cream stuck on one side. Furthermore the taste wasn’t artificial like other strawberry flavors. In my opinion those Oreos are better than the original. Tre Marie Ancora Uno Wafer Stracciatella 🍦🇮🇹 . Got this package from a friend during her vacay in Sicilia, Italy. Never seen wafers with stracciatella cream in groceries before, except as ice cream cone but I was pretty sure they’re gonna be delicious. Unfortunately she send it during the hottest summer of all time in Europe so everything was melted. 🙈😂 Even the oil or whatever it is came through the packaging. I put them in my freezer right away and tried some hours later. Dunno if the filling was a white cream with chocolate pieces before but all I saw was melted milk chocolate between thin layers of wafers. It was a good idea to freeze them bc the filling was refreshing and creamy/ milky w a little hint of dark chocolate, the wafers not very crispy anymore but still delicate and all in all it wasn’t too sweet. Felice Melon Cream Soda🍈🥤 . Included in #tokyotreat July box. I was curious about this flavor cuz I couldn’t really imagine what it’s gonna taste like, I thought it would be sth of a sparkling liqueur etc bc of the word ‘cream’ 😆. Honestly I think most Japanese soft drinks are too artificial in taste as well as in color. This one definitely looked like green poison 😂. Despite that, it has a fantastic melon smell and honeydew melon flavor. I was positively surprised although I don’t drink soda. Of course for me it would have tasted even better if there wasn’t any sparkle but I think I would probably buy this by myself. Btw I diluted the soda a little bit to reduce the sparkles and sweetness.
