As you can probably see, I went on an absolute TEAR last week with revising! I’m really desperate to finish this book by the end of the month, when line edits for my mysterious unannounced adult book two are supposed to arrive.
This week’s revisions were also really fun! I got to revise some of my absolute favorite scenes and passages (swipe for a little hint at one of them!) As I’ve said, this book is the most straightforwardly romantic one I’ve ever written, and I’m having a great time getting to ratchet up the tension and expand the romance scenes even further.
I’m currently on chapter 14 out of 17 (yes, I write really long chapters—in this book they’re averaging about 6k). I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll actually be able to finish this week! Then I’ll get to spend a good amount of time going through the book again, making sure everything flows smoothly and that I’ve addressed all my editor’s notes.
