[watching an episode for the hundredth time] yeah but maybe this time they'll get tired of flirting at each other for ninety minutes and finally just kiss.

Sherlock canonically checks john’s hole
the moment sherlock notices that john is kinda grumpy he is absolutely thinking just when i thought you couldn’t get more adorable
Jeff Hope : play the game
Sherlock : It's not a game, it's chance
Jeff Hope : It's not chance, it's chess
I love the image of Mycroft ringing Chicken Cottage to freak John out, but really hoping they don’t pick up the phone before he can edgily cut it off when John looks over.
But of course he rings back to get some chicken and fries for when he has to stand about for ages waiting for John in that warehouse place.
There’s then a tense wait to see who gets there first, John or the chicken delivery guy.
The delivery man gets there just after John, and can’t find the way in to this riddiculous warehouse building, by the time he does, the chicken is cold. Tragic.
John's expression after The Talk is priceless
john and his homophobic parent
i feel like john having a homophobic father or mother would make sense. like why he's so defensive about not being gay yet he wants sherlock to know "it's all fine" in asip, because he spent so long thinking it wasn't.
When they show up at the crime scene:
Lestrade: Who is he?
Sherlock: Mine
Lestrade: Yeah but who is he?
Sherlock: Mine
