Hello yes, I have been assaulted by thoughts. May I present you all with this Sherlock x The Magnus Archives au that just kind of *vaguely gestures* writes itself???
Main character knows shit he absolutely shouldn't by normal human standards, mystery genre with suspense, it's even set in London for God's sake. Enter the headcanons.
The Holmes Siblings
• Family serves The Eye and keeps relations with other avatars.
• Not blood related, like the Fairchilds. Holmes is just a name, but they were raised together.
• The Holmes kidnapped them when they were very young because they had an interest in gifted children, similar to the institute in tmagp.
• Mycroft was brought in last to keep an eye on the other two, he is still the oldest.
• Timelinewise the family attempts a ritual that goes wrong. "Uncle" Ruddy, head of the family, dies in the attempt and Eurus is weakened to a debilitating state. Also goes a little insane due to the Eye's influence.
• The Holmes run what is basically The Institute.
• The Diogenes Institute has close ties with the Yard, the government and royal family. One could even say they run most of them.
• Sherlock is basically the Archivist. Barely acts the part. Obsessed with closing open cases.
• Basically works alone untill he meets Lestrade and later on John, with the rare exception of Molly being included.
• The archives are in utter disarray. This is not on purpose, it is just his way.
• Out of the three, Sherlock is by far the one that abuses the Eye's power the most. He does feed it but he uses it to exhaustion.
• This is the reason Mycroft is still a motherhen.
• Mycroft is head of the institute.
• Has the most control over the Eye's powers. He does feed it a lot. Having access to the entirety of London's cctv feed does help.

I started writing this fic in 2014 after brainstorming the plot and character development with @semioticofdeduction when I stayed with her. I started posting 4 years ago, thinking I’d easily finish writing it before I’d post the final chapters I had already written. Turns out that a pandemic, burn out from work, health issues and an accidental plunge into other fandoms can get in the way of finishing something. I always knew I’d finish it, I just didn’t know when I’d finally find the time and energy to do it. But I just posted the final chapter. It’s all done.
Chapters: 40/40 Fandom: Sherlock (TV) Rating: Mature Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence Relationships: Sherlock Holmes/John Watson, Mary Morstan/John Watson Characters: John Watson, Mike Stamford, Sherlock Holmes, Molly Hooper, Mary Morstan, Greg Lestrade, Mrs. Hudson (Sherlock Holmes), Harry Watson, Clara (Sherlock), Jim Moriarty, Sebastian Wilkes, Philip Anderson, Sally Donovan Additional Tags: Miner's AU, Sherlock AU, 1980s, Trauma, Injury, John is bisexual, Pining, Getting to Know Each Other, UST, Hurt/Comfort, Angst, Alcoholism, Death, Mystery, Masturbation, Falling In Love, First Time, Making Love Summary:
John Watson is a miner in the Welsh town of Senghenydd, trying to overcome the trauma of a recent pit collapse which killed several of his friends, his sister and during which he, too, and his boss, Greg Lestrade, had a close call. Unable to let it go and feeling ignored by the government, he demands an investigation into the collapse, which he feels could not have occured by natural means. He knows how risky it is to draw attention to their plight in the current political climate and is faced with constant disappointment, until Sherlock Holmes shows up. But what is Holmes's connection to Senghenydd and why does John's boss seem overly familiar with him? As the case progresses, John realises that Holmes has not just come to solve the mystery of the pit collapse, but to unearth a part of his own dark history.
Sherlock x Once Upon a Witchlight AU I guess cause why not
Morning Holmes and Gricko Watson (and they were roomates)
Y'all remember the Sherlock Holmes AU I posted about earlier
Is this just an excuse to draw them in a 1890's fashion?
.... Maybe
