How does Findarato do it then? He is not even in the Halls!
I haven't the faintest, but since I was furiously drunk at the time I did not question.
...cousin Finrod, how did you..?

I do not understand how this keeps happening. My door is still bolted.
Quickly, Curvo! Hang onions and smear garlic all over your doors and windows. I hear that it repels bat creatures such as Thuringwethil! According to some mortals, it prevents bat creatures from entering a room!
But she's not really a bat. A bit batty, though. She's a shape-shifter, so I do not think garlic would work.
Poor Laurë, though.
Besides, I don't want my room to smell bad. You know how garlic affects my body...
ask-celegorm replied to your post: But- But- I would say she is old enough, except I do not actually know what her age is…
I…do not recall. But if that is so, she is indeed old enough to wed! And whether or not she wishes to, it is still a mad thing to send her suitors chasing after a MAIA of all things!
Hmmmm... I suppose it is a bit far-fetched and unfeasible. Mayhap I'll say it's a special mission for Urustaso, Ararosso, and Varalor. They need to go and never come back. I suppose the others are... acceptable.
They'll just be thinking of all the glory they'll win chasing a Maia and then stupidly try it. If they realize it's impossible, then they'll abandon they're suit. It's a perfect way to get rid of them!
But- But- I would say she is old enough, except I do not actually know what her age is...
I'm not sure how many years it's been. Hmmm... When was the first Kinslaying? It was a few moons after that, I remember.
"UNCLE! Help! Ammë's being madder than usual! No one deserves to chase some bat-thing across the sea..."
Eru help me I just want my last child to be a child...
...What kind of a challenge are you putting Ercasse's suitors up for, you madwoman?! Do you wish your daughter to have NO suitors at all?!
...Yes, that was the idea. In my opinion, if anyone else has children in Valinor, 'twill soon be overpopulated with all of the returned ones coming back. It's getting too crowded!
I shall keep away from the more.... sordid details (though I have no doubt she would gladly give them to you should you ask /glares at her.)
Well, she would come to 'chat' with me, as you would call it, for she seemed to believe that I could give her information - about my family, of what we had been planning to do, why we seemed so divided - and she would often come by to mock me, especially of our father's death. And no matter what I said or did she would always 'reward' me by setting her claws in me and drinking my blood... I do not think I shall ever forget those grotesque sounds.... there are few feelings that compare with that of having fangs in your neck or your wrist and feeling and seeing the blood go from you and into another being.... She also liked to play. Those claws of hers are sharp, and they tended to cut into me easily. That laughter.... /shudders.
Ignore the pitiful Avar plaguing your message box, sweet sister. All my life I have had doubts about having my servants leave them in the forest to die, but after seeing such messages sent to you I now wish I had ended their lives on the spot.
*groggily opens an eye* Tyelko? 'ts too early.... pitiable Avar yes... crass.... rude... should have died...
Why are there so many lights in the wine cellar? *goes back to sleep*
