Video game asks: 2, 5 and 9
2: Game that has influenced you creatively: I’d have to say Kirby’s Adventure for the NES. Technically it was my very first fantasy game, and it was mind blowing for the 6 year old me.
5. Ever use cheat codes? Most definitely. Especially for games like NFL Blitz, and NBA Jam, where you could have infinite stamina and big head mode. The best!
9. Most regrettable purchase? Yoshi’s Story. Didn’t like it one bit.

What aspects of American McGee's Alice do you like the most?
I think what interests me the most are two things: First, the use of colors in the game. The game shows that reality is depressing and grey, while Wonderland is full of vibrant colors. To me, this is to hide the chaos that actually goes on in Wonderland. (Still haven’t played the game yet, but it’s on the way, and I try not to know too much about the game to keep it a surprise when I do play it.)
Second, much like the book if anyone has read “Alice in Wonderland”, There appear to be some thoughtful, albeit crazy quotes in the game, especially made by The Cheshire Cat. I think that was one of the genius things by Lewis Carroll was this creating this bizarre world where everyone is crazy, yet still had some wisdom.
TL;DR: Colors, Atmosphere and the characters.
What gaming platform do you have to play Alice Madness Returns?
I have an Xbox 360. I’m hoping to find one in a store somewhere, so I can start playing right away. It looks super interesting and fun!
