what was Sumire and her family's house like? I mean what was the construction like, what style was it, and what location was it in?

{ For Sumire's house wit Kyuufu, I use the scarlet n Violet mansion backgrounds for any flashbacks or things related to that since I'm pretty sure I won't be making a CL route cuz in my opinion it js didn't make sense to me- }

{ Sumire's house LOCATION, was in the bush like deep deeeeepp in the bush completely isolated n far away from any form of humans. Like it was deep where people didn't even go that far, it was somewhere pretty far from kamanishi (I don't remember what it's called-) city, like still in the country but js in the bush if that makes sense }

{ It gave them space to make the house big. I'm talking like the house is fucking huge bigger then any of the brothers mansions, the general style of it would be modern wit a mix of Victorian mansion. The outside is more modern looking then the inside of it, her house was fairly empty n most of it was made of silver or concrete }

{ As for her siblings n mother, the construction was much smaller n mostly wood, like it'd be big to most people but compared to where they used to live in the original Kanashi household it's sm more smaller }

{ The house style was a traditional Japanese home, I don't have the drawing of it but not like you get to see it much in Sumire's route ever, like the most u get is the outside of it burning down }

{ The location of it was still in the bush, but it was a bit more closer to the city SO some of the brothers would go to school while sum homeschooled, but since they were closer to the city meant that they were further from Sumire n Kyuufu, getting to them would take a full day from going to their resident to Sumire's }

Hello hope you don't mind people asking but I have a question about your fic the elephants mind (well kind of)! (I've loved the first two chapters btw)

Do you have any headcanons about how Chris stims? Also do you think you'll write anything more about his autism?

Also do the rest of the society know about anything he's been diagnosed with?

Also also any other headcanons on neurodivergency for other Cornley members?

Hello!! Thank you so much for the questions, very glad to answer all of them. The next chapter for Elephant's Mind should be out in the next couple days :)

I do have headcanons on how he stims! I believe he chews on his tongue and the inside of his cheeks a lot, he also gives off very big sensory vibes, so tapping his thumb to each finger and counting in his head, rubbing the pads of his thumb and index finger together, tapping his fingers, spinning a pen or pencil, and typing on a computer even if it's nonsensical. As for writing about his autism, it won't come to play much in Elephant's Mind, that more focuses on the trans headcanon, but I've already got a draft for another fic that highlights it and the ND's of Cornley much more, so stay tuned!

The rest of the cast "knows", as in he mentioned it offhandedly once to Trevor, which was overheard by Max, who told Sandra, who told Annie, so on and so forth. He's never outright denied being autistic, but they all dance around the topic and try not to bring it up and help him around a bit when they notice he's not having the best of days.

ND's of Cornley! I discussed this very heavily with a friend of mine when the idea for Elephant's Mind was thought up with. Jonathan, Max, Dennis, and Sandra all have ADHD, though Sandra is one of those "well I'm not *that* kind" and it bugs Max big time. Chris, Robert, Dennis, and Vanessa are autistic, though again, Robert denies it because when he was diagnosed, he was told it was Asperger's and refuses to associate with "that kind of ASD" despite being told by Chris that Asperger's isn't a diagnosis anymore. Jonathan, Chris, Vanessa, and Annie all have OCD, and I'll elaborate a bit more on what types in a separate post since this one is rather long already. Trevor's dyslexic and dyscalculic. Trevor and Chris have tics, though Trevor's a diagnosed disorder and Chris links his to stress and ASD. These can/will be elaborated on in a separate post!
