Have you seen the tweet about Luffy being Shanks' Yandere boyfriend? I've been rotating that in my head.

I surprisingly HADN'T! I don't think Shanks is a yandere, he's too goofy, but he does ragebait Luffy and it works every time. I can see it, though he cycles through pissing Luffy off, then coddles him. Shanks is mean!!! Bully! Criminal! Sleazy old man!

No matter where I’m at in my OC reading life cycle (I come and go from the community a lot), @chlobenet makes some of my favorite characters. Everything she makes requires talent and creativity and I always have a little pride in my heart when she posts something new. Also, of course, my partner-in-crime @countessklair is my OC goddess, so dear to my heart. I was just fangirling to her earlier about how talented she is. I have other favorites that live close to my heart but these are the two that popped up in my head right away!

Original question: What would be a good autistic representation / what would I like to see in an autistic character?I’m going to tag this #actuallyautistic so others can also add on.I would love to see an autistic getting through life with a supportive family. You can totally have unsupportive people in your story but the issues should be addressed (I reblogged a review on what atypical did wrong you can look for the tag #atypical on my blog. Basically, do what they did wrong and do it right.) Ableism is a big part of our lives in many subtle ways and it could add a lot of atmosphere (unless your character is struggling to get support it doesn’t have to be a major plot point, more a frequent occurence that influences things in small ways.)I assume your character wants to achieve something (that’s usually the basis of a plot). Whatever you’re writing, what I want to see more than anything, is that the character lives WITH their autism. Too many stories center on glorifying “doing something DESPITE their disability”. Some things are impossible for us. I don’t think I ever could be a public speaker. But that’s okay. Show that nobody is less valueble because they can’t achieve something. Even if we get disappointed we still have things to contribute and be passionate about.

- going to concerts with my dad! he worked at a drum workshop and free tickets were a part of his job to go and maintenance the sets we sold for local shows c:

- hmm…i’m not to sure about this! i like to think i’m pretty good at my hobbies (writing / cooking / baking) but i wouldn’t say best 🤔

hmm, def taking each moment for what they are. taking the time to slow down (when possible) and just enjoy the small things!

it's kinda random but 'ten inch hero'. it's based in a small beach town where everyone knows each other and super friendly / nice to each other and people spend their days working in small shops / restaurants and it's all just so low key dreamy and reminiscent of slice of life / coffee shop au vibes i really dig
