Thoughts on 2doc??@?@?@

I've drawn art of it before lol. Although it's problematic, I'd say the entirety of Gorillaz is problematic. As long as it's not actively glorifying abuse and whatnot I'm chill. I prefer phases 4-7 for it.

Also two things:

Murdoc has said some of the gayest shit about 2D (like "blue haired, black eyed god" and calling him the pretty boy front man, for example)

2D.. wrote what basically sounds like a break-up album? While Murdoc was in jail? Uhm??

I do definitely acknowledge the shit Murdoc's put 2D through in the past, and it's definitely bad (and I'd totally advise 2D to not date Murdoc if he was a real person), but they're not real, and indulging safely in the drama of fictional people is fun.

So that's my take on 2doc. Sorry if it's a little messy, it's midnight

Hey quick question, how do you make a peg for your lps made from scratch. And did you used a spring?

Sadly no spring, and it's not very stable. I stuck a toothpick in the slay after it baked, since it drys like vinyl. It cracked though, and I accidentally tore it again trying to take these photos (I have super glue. You will need super glue)

I poked the head hole with a fat DS stylus so there's a smaller hole for the toothpick peg. If you do this method, make sure to poke a hole for the toothpick ahead of time, especially when working with fully hard clay. This definitely isn't a play-stable method of doing it, but it works if you just wanna make a display piece that can still kinda move its head.

The difficulty here is I have zero clue how I'd use a spring with these, since I'm not sure how well baking the clay with the spring halfway inside would work, and making the necks stable enough for such a heavy head is a nightmare. Plus, I'm not sure how to hollow the heads out without messing up my sculpt. I've made a second one, a bunny but I'm still learning and figuring out how to make these work beyond just being neat sculptures.

I dunno, I still have the springs that fell out of my old window back when I lived in an apartment. Maybe I could make a little guy and try out that one, though the actual peg part.. I'm not sure. I found a real littlest pet with a missing face in a parking lot about a year ago so I could try to figure out how it works from that one.

1. 2D - Precious, love him. Wish to put him in a big poofy sweater and give him forehead kisses.

2. Noodle - She's a very interesting character and I really wanna know more about her. Love the big sis energy.

3. Russel - underrated big time. Deserves a lot more love than he gets.

4. Cyborg Noodle - I.. I wanna adopt her, she deserved better.

5. Del - funky ghost man :)

6. Ace - I don't know much about this stinky man. If I knew more I'd probably rank him higher. He's cool.

7. Paula - I am neutral about her, however I think the fandom gives her far too much hate.

8. Boogeyman - Neutral but cool design. (Also here just to not have Paula so close to the bottom)

9. Murdoc - ... Y'all already know he's both the best and worst character in my eyes. I am absolutely obsessed with this man and I fucking hate him.
