Personally, I'm more of a Stephen King thriller type, so I recommend any of his books if you haven't read the majority of them yet.
But I don't know what you're into so it's kind of a hit or miss!

The first character I first fell in love with: RaphaelThe character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Leo… rewatching 2k3 has me really loving his character… and the new bay movie… yeah… loving leo…The character everyone else loves that I don’t: IrmaThe character I love that everyone else hates: i don’t think many ppl liked 2k3 karai, but i did!The character I used to love but don’t any longer: 2k12 really ruined donatello for me…. and once again, bay movie didn’t do him any favors…(though i love 1990, 2k3, and idw donnie) the same can be said about mikey...The character I would totally smooch: Raph and now Leo…. hahThe character I’d want to be like: The patience of Leo when he’s in the zone… the easygoing nature of mikey would be nice… i’m super spicy no joke…The character I’d slap: Shred-HeadA pairing that I love: for some reason i really liked the idea of IDW pairing up mikey and angel….. otherwise leo/radical bc was a sweet and tragic love story from enlightenment in the desert to leo losing his soulmate…. (sobbing now)A pairing that I despise: Capril (all settings), Apriltello (2k12)
I agree with your assessment of Lily, definitely, because I agree that they were trying to parallel her to Regina. But I've seen the argument the Lily is meant to be present day Emma, and that young Emma is meant to be Regina. I personally disagree with that perception of the parallel, but I was wondering what your thoughts might be.
yeah... i agree i don't see it... like i get that lily betraying emma was supposed to parallel emma betraying regina.... but i personally don't believe "emma betrayed regina" she didn't go out of her way to be all "how can i fuck with regina today? oh, i know, i'll bring back robin's dead wife!" she didn't lie to regina... where her "betrayal" came from doing something GOOD (saving a life)... lily's betrayal was a result of lying instead of being truthful...
lily betraying emma and emma "betraying" regina are two totally different scenarios that i don't believe fits in a parallel....lily would have fit in better with neal.... or even later on down the road she might have fit with hook once/if he comes clean about the dagger? lily/hook both have/had emma's trust, she's opening walls, both wanted/wants to be with her.. and both lied to her about something HUGE and yeah... better fit! i think that's half the reason i don't like lily was because of the forced parallel to regina...
A&E said lily was apparently coming back but i am hoping that they "forget" about saying that like they "forgot" about cutting a scene of emma calling out regina for killing graham in the supply closet after she slammed regina into a shelf and now keep insisting that emma doesn't know...
i see your open for questions today... ask anything, right? i'm a swanfire shipper that follows you for other fandoms and i do occasionally like captain swan.... i want to know if neal were to come back, what would you like to see happen from a sf pov as well as a cs pov?
if neal were to come back i would like for the past to finally be hashed out between him and emma and even henry, because with their pretend memories Henry knew everything about neal leaving emma and sending her to jail or whatever----- so i'd like that door to finally be closed. i want there to be some sort of admission of guilt and apology from neal instead of the laughing brushoff he gave to emma.
i would like there to be a development between henry and neal. father getting to know son and the such, but i don't want any false illusions of henry thinking his parents are going to get back together. he's old enough now to realistically see that it might not happen, especially since he knows what happened with them in the past.
i wouldn't want there to be some sort of lame ass love triangle with jealous!hook or neal "trying to get emma back". i want emma to be firm and tell neal that it isn't going to happen. i don't want her bending out of guilt, or out of obligation to MM and David's wishes to give neal a chance. i want her to make a choice for HER--- and as a CS shipper I'd want that to be Killian. (as you, i'm sure, would want it to be Neal.)
Whoever she chose, I'd want it to be HER choice without any influence from anyone. No obligation to make anyone but HERSELF happy. However, if he were to come back, i think with not only Killian, but the past (her trust was broken due to neal, that is hard to forgive and forget no matter what they were like in the past) would keep her from wanting to be with neal.
I see Captain Swan being True Love endgame. I see them being nontraditional and perhaps having a child before tying the knot. I can see Emma telling Hook to "be patient" when he asks for her hand (eventually) and if Neal were to come back I don't think he'd stop it... he'd be a part of Henry's life... I'd see him moving on with someone else in SB (tink perhaps?)---but in the end if he were to come back, or even if he were still alive now, i think that 110% he and emma would NOT be together.
