Aww thank you! I think I ended up with a tummy bug I caught at work. It was sucky and I lived off soup and ginger ale for two days. Was finally feeling better yesterday and got nearly whole the prologue and part of chapter 1 done though. I missed WIP Wendesday so hopefully I can make up for it now. Working hard on the psychic mind!reader fic :)

sorry if this sounds off english is not my first language . Why are you against translating your works if you dont mind me asking?

Hello lovely! Thank you for the question. There's a long answer and a short answer really.

The short answer is because I don't want my stuff posted on other websites/on other accounts. Because I am not comfortable with it.

The long answer is more complicated. In the beginning of my side blog I though "Oh hey that would really cool if someone ended up translating my work" and was open to it and put it in my pinned post. But I received about 3 or 4 messages from accounts who I didn't recognize, they hadn't liked/commented/or reblogged the posts they were asking to translate. Accounts who were not in the Call of Duty community with blank ageless blogs who wanted to translate and repost my work onto apps that I had never heard of. When I googled the app they gave me it didn't exist.

Now I thought that was really weird since I'm a really small blog with waaay less then 200 followers at the time. And only like 3 chapters of my story were out. It felt really weird and like a scam. They wanted to translate things they hadn't even read or liked. So I changed my mind.

I think I would have felt much different if it was one of my followers or people who liked my posts or even another well-known user in the community. But I got a bunch of messages all at once and it made me feel weird.

(Please do not take this as 'I don't want messages from people'. I don't mind dms if they are for people in the community here looking to chat. It was just really bad vibes.) I love the idea of translating stories, I think it is wonderful and it makes it more accessible. But I don't think right now is the right time for me to be open to that. I still need to get my works uploaded to A03. Maybe in the future I'll feel better about it.

Are you going to write more chapters for a whisper in your mind?

Because if I’ve missed something, but I’m not aware if you may be on a hitaus, scrapped it or slow to update. (not that there’s anything wrong with that!!)

Hi there, not rude at all! I'm so thrilled to hear how much you enjoy it! It's a story that's very close to my heart and I want to see it through to the end if I can. Technically I'd say it's on hiatus, due to quite a few factors. Mostly: I'm struggling with some sever writer's block for the next couple of chapters. I actually have over 15K written for the series in later chapters/sections. I have a lot of the overarching plot planned but it's filling all the bits in that have been hard. Also when I posted the last chapter it was on the cusp of me becoming quite sick for nearly four months which killed a lot of the steam I had going. Then my computer updated and I had previously just writing in notepad but that didn't work afterwards. I floundered on all my writing until I ended up making the switch to ellipsus. (Heavily recommend!) They actually just updated recently so I can now import all my AWIYM documents but I haven't gotten around to it lately.

I also have have a lot of real life burn out and stress this last fall so I have just been weakly bouncing around projects I haven't published yet.

So in all I'd say I'm a slow writer and that there's absolutely plans to continue it... but I can't promise when that update will be. I'm hoping to have some time over the summer. Likely what will happen is when I'm done the next chapter, there will be another large edit of the previous chapters and then I'll finally post it to A03 as well.

Hello my beloved! I immediately told that joke to my husband and he groaned from halfway across the house! I love it so much. I will be annoying my coworkers with it tomorrow.

Mascot appeasement has hit a jam. Finn said he's in love with Quinn now and I'm working on getting him back.

Haven't worked much in the hockey AU much since hockey ended sadly. I would always work on it when watching games. But I reread it last week which took me a couple hours.

Next step is planning out the order of all the scenes I need to add in, which is a lot but I'm excited. And right now I've been writing a scene where the 141 teaches Reader the rules of poker while she's sitting on someone's lap. 😚
