“... nightmares, sometimes. I wake up in a cold sweat. But I forget about them in the morning. I can never quite remember what they were about...”
“I apologise for the poor camera quality.” Angela murmured, and warily threw a glance behind her. Fareeha’s rather excitable rambling was easy to hear but it was obvious she was talking aloud, rattling off things that she wanted to show the devil whilst they’re able to take advantage of the mortal world.
Her lips pursed for a second or two, before the guilty look grew. “I am not worried for Fareeha. I am… am guilty about what I have done to her. I fear that I regret agreeing to the deal we made on the day we met, where she sold her soul to me. I fear that the love she gives me is begrudging. I fear that I have robbed her of her loves, and I have been taking it for myself. She’s been introducing me to mortal customs. Movies, adventures, stories, holidays, celebrations, and all this time I’ve known of what they are and yet… have never taken the chance to experience them for my own.”
There was a pause.
“I do not know.” She finally admitted, and cheeks flushed at the sudden outpour of her thoughts to the camera. “I apologise, I shouldn’t be rambling- Fareeha is expecting me. I should go.”
