wardrobe ask for Thalia please!

wardrobe: How big is your character's wardrobe?

Do they wear things threadbare, or can they

afford new clothes often? Are they any good at

mending and repairing their own clothing?

I’m answering this for Destiny Thalia since that’s my current brainrot!

Thalia has a pretty moderately sized wardrobe. It’s mostly casual clothing for hanging around the tower, but she has a few sets of armor that she can switch between. She’s got a small section of her wordrobe that’s holey or otherwise worn, which she wears for messy work like weapons customization or fabric dyeing. She is quite good at repairing her clothes, though, and it’s also a service she provides for others!

Ohhhh I have so many projects I’m gonna do soon. I have cool things coming in the mail. I’m hoping to maybe go to a camping event with my medieval reenactment group this summer, and/or maybe the New York ren faire. Soooooo many things! 😊

I’m not entirely sure what this is in response to, but I’m going to assume you’re asking if I have any, and I’ll answer accordingly. My answer is kind of. I’m not particularly superstitious, so I don’t have anything I carry with me if, say, I have a test or a presentation that I need to do well on. There are, however, two necklaces that I wear on a pretty regular basis that make me feel spiritually/emotionally safe. The first one is a Newsies necklace, just a miniature Newsies playbill on a chain. It got me through my first summer as a camp counselor, and rubbing it between my fingers helped ground me when I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed. The second necklace is a mjölnir pendant on a black cord. It’s not mjölnir in the Marvel sense, it’s mjölnir in the norse mythology sense. I initially got it as a medieval re-enactment thing, but since then I’ve started identifying as a norse pagan with Thor as the god that I primarily worship, so the pendant helps me feel connected with him and with my religion as well as helping me feel safer spiritually and emotionally.

16: biggest internal fear?

Feeling helpless. She was kept in a government lab and experimented on for about three years from around age 13 to age 16, and that definitely left some psychological scars. She absolutely hated how she felt in the lab, how she would beg for the experiments to stop, beg for mercy, and not only would she be ignored, she was unable to do anything about her situation.

18: are they allowed to say fuck?

Absolutely. She swears like a sailor most of the time.

28: show us a song you associate with the OC

There’s a song that I learned in my medieval reenactment group called Savage Daughter, which I definitely associate with Seraph. It’s originally by Wyndreth Berginsdottir, but the version you’ll find online is a cover by Sarah Hester Ross. Beyond that, I have songs that I associate more with the setting than the character. Seraph is the assistant director of a summer camp for mutant kids (more on that coming soon, probably) so a lot of these songs are songs that I associate with summer camp. In that category, there’s take on me, don’t stop believin’, bohemian rhapsody, country roads, and cotton-eye joe

Spot’s my favorite character and I’d love to play him, but honestly? I wanna be Jack Kelly. I can nail that final note in Santa Fe and goddammit I wanna show off.

Crutchie Morris: have you had any injuries? If so, what were they?

I split open my chin twice in preschool and had to get it glued back together, and I busted open my eyebrow, also in preschool, and had to get stitches. I’ve also been bitten my two different horses.

Mush: if you had to have one (1) last meal, what would it be?

Chicken tikka masala with bhatoora and gulab jamun, with ice cream for dessert. I adore Indian food

Okay so I don’t know if this is technically a spice but I don’t give a shit. Rosemary fucking slaps.

Honestly not that different. I’m maybe a wee bit more combative online.

💒 (chapel): tell me about a place you find beautiful.

Okay so. There’s this camp in like. South central Missouri that I’ve been going to for 8 years now, and at this camp there’s this place called the glade. It’s this little rocky patch of land that’s kinda desertish. Like, there’s sand and cacti, and ticks and scorpions everywhere, but it’s my favorite place at camp. On a clear night, it’s the best place for stargazing that I’ve found. It literally looks like you’re in a dome. It’s gorgeous.
