“I often visit animal shelters and take care of the bunny rabbits, they’re so soft and kind to me. I have found some peace while doing this and petting all of the new dogs that enter the shelter. I highly recommend it to others that want to distress.”
“Tragy is a feeling I know all too well. In some ways I’m glad they’re dead, so I can move on with my life and not need to explain all that’s happened. Its been much too long to attempt to rekindle anything, and had they survived I’m sure their injuries would be great. In others I am sad, for I will never know the experience of growing up in a warm and loving home. But there are others out there like me who have had the same feeling, and I find more and more people like that from the letter they send me. I’m glad I can reach others, and we can grow together and make our own kind of family. I don’t need a mummy and daddy for that, I just need a safe home and friends I can talk to. I do visit their graves though, and leave flowers. I even made one for Brown, even though there is no body to bury, sadly. But it lets me mourn and grieve in my own way. And I suppose in the end that’s all I can ask for.”
I even plan to work full time at the Library and bring Wendy there daily so she won’t be lonely and children can come and play with her. I’m sure its what the real Wendy would have wanted as well. Slowly I’m adjusting to life, even if small things send me into relapses. But that’s okay. Things take time, and that’s at least one thing I have. And I know Brown is always there, watching me. Helping me. So I know I’m going to be okay.

My dear @namby-pamby24 , thank you for your patience in my reply. I hope you continue to be brave and strong. Never be afraid to stand up for what you believe in!
Perhaps one day I’ll try taking a boat there, though would prefer to find out more information about it before visiting. Thank you for telling me about it!

Ask Jennifer
Dear Jennifer,
Recently, I had to move. Although my new town seems nice, I really miss my old town. I grew up there, and made amazing memories. I used to live near a forest, but now I live by the beach. It is a total change of scenery. I miss hearing the leaves fall, walking the trails, and seeing the animals wandering around. What can I do to stop feeling homesick?
-Jessica
Dear Jessica,
Homesickness is a very distressing feeling. Although it can be hard to completely stop feeling this way, I can help you lessen it. Try not to think of this change as moving away from something good; instead, think of it as a chance to make new amazing memories. The beach is a fantastic place. Even though beaches are different from forests, they still have some of the same positive qualities. They are both very pretty and relaxing. If you liked the sounds of the forest, try listening to the waves crashing on the shore at the beach. The sounds are different, but it is still nature. If you liked walking the trails, try walking on the shore. Even though it is a different terrain, you are still walking. Also, just like in the forest, there are animals on the beach as well. You can watch seagulls fly around, and if you are lucky, you might even spot some dolphins jumping out of the ocean! Remember, even though you are standing on a different part of the world, you are still on the same beautiful earth.
