Krystal, got any dreams you hope will come true?
Krystal: “I do. They’re very simple too. Shit a bitch just wants to be happy happy. You know?”
"Your hand looks heavy. Let me hold it for you."
“Weeeell alright, if you, like, insist.” With a sigh, as if the act was a burden, she put out her hand for Arcadia to take. She smiled at the wolf, and the longer that smile lasted, the more it started to morph into something lightheartedly teasing. “Are you gonna, like, offer to carry my books to class next or something?”
soulofsinatra My embarrassing moment.
Fandom: Harry Potter
Hermione flippin’ Granger. (I don’t know where my ‘next page’, ‘previous page’ buttons went, hmm.)
But if I have to choose one I haven’t actually played yet, maybe Ron! I love my Weasleys. And Ron just does not get enough love.
“Don’t move, I just got comfy.”
Smiling down at him, she ran a hand through his hair.
“But I thought I was actually gonna try and cook dinner today.”

3. We are being followed! Our muses have to kiss one another to avoid having their faces seen.
They were both technically wanted. Neolution wasn’t exactly pleased that either of the two of them were walking around. What was worse was that both of them abetted in the other’s escape.
As par Susan Duncan’s wishes, Krystal was to be euthanized whilst still posing as her daughter, Rachel, so as to allow Rachel to truly move around freely in the world (and to free Dyad from having to pay for life support for the then unconscious Krystal). It was going to seem natural. She would be moved and during that time she would simply ‘pass on’. But Delphine had requested some time alone with her and Krystal had woken up and revealed her identity and all of those plans were quashed.
Then, after ‘subduing’ Delphine Cormier, she was taken to Neolution to undergo a treatment that would, hopefully, end with her choosing to work with them of her own ‘free will’. (Though ‘free will’ was, perhaps, speaking in dishonest terms, as she would technically be under their own brand of mind control.) How Krystal had gotten through to Doctor Cormier after said treatment was something that Neolution couldn’t quite figure out but, boy, had it pissed them off. Those two were nuisances. And they had to be dealt with.
And that was how Delphine and Krystal ended up on the run together. Krystal knew they were being followed. She had hoped that, after some time, they would be able to throw off the agents tailing them, but no such luck. Contrastingly, their pursuers only seemed to be getting more aggressive and more ready to move in on them. They had to act now.
Grabbing Delphine’s shirt collar, she idled her back into the nearest wall and then pulled her down so that their lips could meet. They stayed that way for a little. And once sure that they had lost the men who were following them, Krystal let Delphine go. “Sorry,” she said. “We were being watched.” She didn’t like the idea of forcing someone into a kiss. Especially someone who probably had never thought about kissing her before. It was likely a huge blindsiding moment. But she hadn’t known what else to do.
And there was another upside- “Ooh, your lipstick tastes like berries!” She puckered her lips, instantly back to smiling. “That’s, like, really good! You’re gonna have to tell me what brand this is.”

4. Our muses are pressed awkwardly together in a confined space to avoid being found by someone.
Why had they even thought that infiltrating Dyad would be a good idea? Now they were hiding in a closet, avoiding the guy who vacuumed the halls late at night.
Of course they hadn’t realized that it had been that guy before they jumped into the closet because otherwise they would have probably tried to run. This was much more time consuming. (Maybe, in another situation, where Krystal wasn’t present, said guy would have ended up dead or unconscious. Probably just unconscious. But she had been very insistent to Rudy, before they even entered, that she wanted to try to avoid anyone getting hurt in the slightest.)
No doubt it made things more difficult.
And time-consuming.
But it was better.
She had almost sighed out of exasperation. But the vacuums whirring, louder and quieter as it came closer and nearer to them was funny to her, especially when it sounded, once, like it was about to completely trail off and the janitor was going to move on and then it just came right back.
Krystal laughed, but instantly threw a hand in front of her mouth. It did nothing to quell her giggles, but maybe it would further dampen the noise so they could remain hidden. Not that the janitor could probably hear much over the vacuum as it was.

☯ Is there a muse you've always wanted to play?
Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I’ve wanted to play her for a while, but, well, not that my last time doing Buffyverse RP was bad (I wrote for Fred/Illyria from Angel), but it was pretty difficult to break into (though I’m sure it’s changed since then) and I’ve just never been sure about getting back into it. Plus, playing a lead character? Super-duper pressure. I know Buffy’s also not the most well-liked - people are really divided on their opinions as her as a character. But, yeah, I dunno. Again, maybe someday, who knows. (I keep playing blonde characters on tumblr recently. I swear it’s not like an intentional trend.)
ツ Who has been your favorite muse to play so far? Why?
Oh man, I don’t think I could ever choose. I’ve had some great times with all of them. Peter Parker was an amazing one because I could just do so much with the comedy and the angst. But seriously, the comedy, though, I could go all out and outrageous with it and it worked so well because Peter is an absolute spaz, and have you seen Andrew Garfield’s face and like, how energetic he is and stuff? Writing for that physicality was just an absolute ball. Plus, Peter’s a super puppy - an absolute sweetheart (sort of like Krystal in that regard) and it was great to have him play alongside characters that didn’t usually get along with others??? Because he could usually manage it, with his tolerance and his patience and kindness. And, uh, if he couldn’t, it would just end up being a whole snarkfest and this might not be well known but I am actually a sarcasm addict so, either way it was a win-win situation for me.
I also really loved playing Tex from Red vs. Blue. Comedy couldn’t really happen to her, because she’s more of a serious person - ‘a bit of a badass, anyone can tell~’ - but that universe allowed for a lot of ridiculous stuff to happen around her, and I just had so much fun writing in that universe. And beyond that, as her. She’s got such a deep character and she’s so closed off and in her head, but that was a blast to write. It was great to write someone who just unapologetically kicks ass (typically working for the greater good). But she is a mercenary, so not always for the greater good. If she was emotionally invested in the job, then her moral compass tended to win out over the call of money, though. But yeah, she was so cool, and playing the different versions of her - the person she was at the start of Project Freelancer to the person she was by the end of everything.. Just so cool seeing that disparity and how it sort of just developed in my writing naturally? It wasn’t a conscious decision but Project Freelancer Tex was more quiet, reserved, robotic-ish? She stayed in her own corner, only stepping in to kick people’s asses if a fight was thrown. And then she changes to be more emotionally open, emotionally full. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone watching the series so I’ll stop there but I could go on forever.
Then there’s Hermione Granger, who I could never forget and leave behind. Ugh, the HP RP community was so full and lively, man. And she’d always get these really cool, in-depth questions about the magical world and how certain magic functioned and stuff, and it was so fun to get to think about that stuff and basically sort it all.
So yeah, I could never pick a favorite muse. I’ve just had a blast writing for everybody. Look if I keep going I’m going to talk about Kitty Pryde and Felicia Hardy and Lydia Martin and oierhiueshryiehr so I’m just going to stop here and run away now.
