don’t really think about them but I would assume they’d probably find comfort in the fact that the other is also carrying a similar guilt, and this could soon turn into toxic codependency. This could go two ways, either they can help each other escape from this cycle of guilt, move on and try to live normally or they can live in the guilt. Basically that ‘only you understand how I feel and I can never trust another person again’ scenario where they just kinda isolate themselves and self destruct. Yeah.

yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!! I specified twinks in that post cause i had a Very Specific Scenario in mind (season 2 Jaskier visibly buffer than in s1, hes more outwardly masc but still slightly foppish and so hes attracting a whole new, less discrete subset of men, hehe) but yes i've gotten a few tags on that post about Big Guys and that's just so.

Like ok instead of buying drinks for the bakers sweet son hes sharing shots with the town blacksmith who's got legs like tree trunks and a chest like a barrel and maybe hes got long hair. It's something of a risk in his profession but hes got a bit of vanity for attracting pretty traveling bards. he keeps it tied back but well groomed and maybe Jaskier takes it down out of its tie and brushes his fingers through it as a coy flirtation and maybe the blacksmith puts his big hands on Jaskier's waist and Geralt is very pointedly not looking and absolutely hes not gripping his hands into fists under the table and if he leaves for bed earlier than usual its because hes tired from their travels and absolutely no other reason.

it def has nothing to do with jealousy or the look on jaskiers face when the blacksmith leaned in and whispered something in his ear, he definitely doesnt go and shamefully get himself off in their shared room hours before jaskier finally stumbles back in looking all self satisfied.

oooooooo one of my all-time favorite fics!!! all birthed from @starboundanon's genius. I decided I'd do what I like to imagine happened after the fic, after Din and Luke finally mate and Luke sort of settles into his life.

"Darling. Why don't you stay inside today? Just coming off your heat, you're bound to be a little... riled up."

Din scrubbed his nose and frowned a little, eying Luke where he was going through his closet.

"Also a little fragrant, still. Your father will absolutely not allow you to leave."

Luke ignored his mate and husband, rummaging through his closet. Every scrap of clothing inside was entirely unsuitable to actually leave the palace in, all of them long gowns, sheer and most of them white. Luke looked back over his shoulder towards where Din was sitting by the windowsill, helmet off and eyes dark.

"Is there anything in this godsdamn palace I can wear that will allow me to walk on my own two feet?"

Din, incredibly helpfully, shrugged, and rose to his feet.

"Why do you want to go out anyway? Supposing we could even get your father to agree."

Luke turned on his heel towards Din, one blonde eyebrow raised.

"You don't remember? What you said, during my heat?"

Din shook his head, stepping closer to Luke until he could wrap his hands around his slender waist.

"Remind me."

Luke smiled a little at that, mischievous and lovely.

"You said you'd give me a baby."

Din's eyes widened comically, and he tightened his hold on Luke imperceptibly.

"You thought I was being serious? I was just trying to get you off,"

Luke pouted, pushing his husband away.

"You promised me a baby. Now get your helmet on, help me into one of these stupid dresses, and we're going to go get one."
