The Mizu massacre was caused by enderwalk, so to put it at some point it was triggered by something related to dream. Which leads to the massacre of the whole city. When he became conscious he slowly realized he it was his fault and kind of wandered around the haunted city trying to clean up some of the stains and maybe a few never came off. So maybe a few travellers (not the fishermen) came by and Ranbob wanted to ask them for help to get out but before he gave them a tour of the place and at the very end he showed the final room. The enderwalk triggers, killing the travellers as a result. So this is were I'd like to put a twist, that Ranbob actually gain control of the enderwalk. It not technically him but he's conscious of what End!ranbob is doing and that leads to end!ranbob killing the fishermen.

I think Dream died at some point so they made the room so the Dream Team made the room and never told anyone (not until years later Ranboo found it) 

A bit weird for the rooms were decorated to be like their "idols" so I suppose the rooms weren't always "themed" but when they passed away it was decorated in their honor.

Rising an old headcanon Ranbutler used dice to count how much he can speak when sir Billiam isn't around

Also ranbutler and john john are twins and when Sir Billiam robbed the town he just decided to kidnap this teen somehow running a saloon and was on lunch break and john john never saw him again.

Ranbutler was actually close with Hubert and promised they'd run away. But we all know where that went.
