Dunno know whats popular or not, so this is a guess. But I like Maya and Phoenix as more of a sibling dynamic than a romantic one.
Favorite relationship
Romantically Phoenix and Edgeworth. Platonically Phoenix and Pearl.
Favorite headcanon
Don't think it's a headcannon so much as it's supported by in game content but I don't see it brought up, so here goes. Phoenix has psychic powers of his own. He was able to hear and see Mia's ghost on his own without magical aid. The magatama was just more flashy and kinda of overshadowed it.

5. Do you listen to music when writing?
Absolutely. I like turning on some light/dark academia YouTube playlists and just letting that get me in the zone. Plus my go-to song for inspiration is Merry Go Round of Life because I’m in love with the violins and it always helps me focus.
12. Who is your favorite author?
Christopher Paolini (God bless the Eragon series) and Diana Wynne Jones. I love her vibe and her sense of humor is subtle but sarcastic and I love her style too.
16. What fanfic tropes do you avoid writing for?
This is a good question and I don’t think I’ve really thought about this too much... I consider myself to be pretty inclusive when it comes to writing too. I really like some of the cliché ones like enemies to lovers and good guy turned bad vice versa, but I’ve never really thought about what I wouldn’t write...
