So, Director Reev,since you're not yet tired of questions I have some more: What exactly happenedon that 21st birthday to warrant superveilance? Or if you're not comfortable answering that just fill us in how you met the Generals when you were busy working in urban development, please? :3

Hello again, spiritthatdenies. Just Reeve or Commissioner will do, it has been a long time since I was Director. 

My 21st ended as a consequence of naïve stupidity, bad timing and the natures of man. It is not really a story I care to recall in great detail, but I do not mind giving you the basics: 

I had decided to take a trip underside to celebrate the anniversary of my birth, when I was alerted to an event at one of the reactor cores. 

I quickly made my way to the reactor. I may have had a few drinks, but I was far from inebriated, and they were my responsibility.

There was an accident after I had started to work on the problem, which resulted in an injury and a scar that still marks me now. 

Following my return towards my previous destination I was promptly targeted by some men. It was somewhat unsurprising given the state I was in. That and the fact that suits tended to attract a lot of attention under plate. 

These men were somehow in possession of a Slow materia, and they did not hesitate to cast that curse upon me.

It was that night that cemented a path away from another, though I would have preferred to have at least had a choice. It was also the first night I saw someone die in front of my eyes. 

Veld saved me then. 

Afterwards... well, somehow, I became a commodity to be monitored. More people started to recognise me in the corridors. I started to get a reputation. This was not necessarily entirely a good thing in ShinRa.

As for meeting SOLDIER: Sephiroth apparently does not recall, but I remember quite clearly meeting him as a young teenager in the laboratories of Science and Research. Later, during one of my many favours to Lazard in fixing up the training holosuites, I additionally met both Angeal Hewley and Genesis Rhapsodos.

I also met the irrepressible Mr. Fair in the canteen, but he was not particularly interested in meeting the man behind those boring Urban Development updates and it was more by association to Kunsel that we even exchanged greetings. 

Kunsel and I were closer associates, in spite of our differences to the day job.

It was an awfully awkward situation.  Reeve felt his face turn various shades of red and he wanted to hide from the eyes that were looking at him.  The hands that were on his bare shoulders were frozen and it seemed that the owner of them had stopped breathing as the door opened.

It was a little startling of a sight to see bright red eyes and darker ones fixed on them.  A throat cleared and Tseng’s voice was the first to speak.  “We you’d gone home,” he said as he was held up by the taller man behind him.  Tseng was rather tipsy from the night events and it seemed the only thing holding him up was Vincent who had more colour in his cheeks as well.

Reeve had to admit that he was a little warm from the wine as well.  The woman that moaned beneath him as she moved to cover her formerly bare chest from the prying eyes of the three men in the room.  “Close the door,” Shalua said as she tried to grab the shirt that she had been wearing just a few minutes before.

“This is mighty awkward,” Vincent spoke but made no move to leave or close the door.

Reeve moved to stand up, but he had forgotten that his pants were already unbuckled.  It only took one step back and he tripped on his own pants.  He grabbed at the first thing he could, which was Shalua.  He pulled her down on top of him.  He heard Tseng laugh and suddenly they were looking down at him with the woman on top of him.

He apologized profusely to the woman as he wrapped his arms around her now bare back as he didn’t know where he top went in the fall.

“So,” Tseng said as he pressed against the desk, “Are you done?”

A clawed hand appeared and pulled on Tseng’s shoulder and out of sight. 

He could hear the two men tustling on the other side of the desk.  He looked at the woman on top of him.  “Well, so much for being all sensual and spontaneous,” he whispered.

She shook her head at him.  “The effort was appreciated.”

The desk moved and Reeve had to move his legs to avoid it being hit.

A deep growl could be heard and Reeve wasn’t sure but he thought he heard Tseng laughed.  She put her hands on either side of his face.  “But let’s not do this again.”

He couldn’t agree more.
