Prompt:

Tseng is in hell.

Not only is his mentor much younger than he’s supposed to be, but he somehow managed to drag his presumed dead (emphasis on dead; this man should dead) partner back with him.

Shoved into a director’s position until the matter is solved, Tseng has to deal with his boss wreaking havoc.

He had thought reigning in Rude and Reno was troublesome, but these two are just pure nightmare fuel.

It also doesn’t help that Valentine seems to have come back wrong. (Surely Veld would have mentioned if his partner had always been a shape-shifting vampire thing—right?)

OR:

Vincent is a time traveler and Veld has been de-aged by at least 20 years. It’s Hojo’s fault, and they’ve decided to make it everyone else’s problem.

📩 - Does your muse prefer to physically write letters or send them online? What is their reasoning?

Headcanon Meme||Communication 

For work, Reeve has a preference for online communications, largely for their efficiency and convenience for getting things done. 

 And whilst they are potentially more open to unauthorised access, with the right precautions, they are far more easily controlled. 

 On a personal level however he does still appreciate written letters or messages from people he knows closely, or is intimate with. 

It demonstrates time and effort, alongside that personal touch. Reeve highly values both acts of service and quality time, as he knows just how precious they actually are. 

On a side note, Reeve generally prefers written communication to the spoken word, especially at work (which is what, basically his life?) There is less room for error. 

 When it comes to public speaking, he has had to make significant efforts in the past to become at least comfortably competent enough to express himself, first in the board meetings at Shinra, then when he took on the role of heading up the W.R.O. (not to mention the negotiations in between...) 

Veld played a hand in this, he understood that Reeve was more than capable mentally, but required some nudging and guidance when he was still a young man, to build upon his natural gifts for guile towards the skills required for politicking.

And perhaps even Rufus Shinra himself may have played some part. If nothing else, he gives Reeve an example, or at least the opportunity to practice cutting his teeth against/with one of the best players of this game.
