hiii! i'm in the same boat also looking for fictional stories ft butchfemme lesbians but i do have a few recommendations

for books, i'd recommend last night at the telegraph club by malinda lo. it's a fifties period piece about a chinese femme lesbian discovering her sexuality and community in chinatown in san francisco.

i also like the manga the guy she was interested in wasn't a guy at all otherwise known as the green yuri. i'm sure you've heard of it, but it's really good and they're going to make it into an anime.

as for movies, bound is a really great lesbian movie about this butch and femme working together to rob the mafia. i also like the watermelon woman, which is about a stud lesbian who works at a video rental store and is doing a film project about this Black lesbian actress who was not credited in films. but i'm a cheerleader is a a fun campy comedy about a femme stuck at conversion therapy camp because her friends and family think she's a lesbian (surprise: she is). stud life is also good, it's a silly film about a stud and a gay man in the uk who are best friends. also the handmaiden isn't butchfemme, but i still recommended it.

I’m so sorry again, anon, that it took me so long to get to you- but I really wanted this one to be good and I’ve been on a weird slope with my Sweet Girl drawings lately. 

Even before this ask I had considered an Enby or gender-diverse Sweet Girl but I didn’t think it would work because the character is presented as female- but I absolutely love the fact that Sweet Girl (the character) has transcended that boundary and so many different kinds of people can see themselves in her; which at that point its dismissive on my part not to draw this version!

So here they are in all their androgynous glory!
