More things I like about him: dat ÄSS- I mean, his devotion to Kohga being so strong, he defies a malicious corrupting spirit inside a pair of cursed swords (description text for one of his weapons)

More things I dont like about him: that he's dead taking such a long nap! isn't that Kohga's job?! ahaha. ha...

More random headcanons: the worst morning person you will ever encounter. health influencer quiver before him. he doesn't make it another person's problem though, very mindful about other Yiga during his (frankly insane) morning routine. bisexual but strong lean towards men (my personal sooga, I respect all other hcs)

More songs I associate with him: What Kohga is with shamisen and flutes, Sooga is the taiko drums to me, one example in particular from my playlist would be shutsujin-taiko by Yutakadaiko Tomoe-Ryu or just the Kakariko (Night) OST

More things I like about him: It was so self explanatory to me to find Kohga hot, I only ever mentioned Sooga this way but... god I love me a fat funny man. Not afraid to bawling his eyes out in public or infront of the clan [aoc cutscene in the temple of time]

More things I dont like about him: how hard it is to handsew a plush doll of him without patterns just rawdogging the details like cmon give us at least an amiibo nintendo

More random headcanon: picky about food, fabric, nap spots, many things. mostly related to sensory issues but also mental exhaustion from his powers. Drinks often, smokes occasionally, and swears sometimes. Also bisexual (my personal Kohga)

Favourite thing about him: da mooscles- jokes aside, he's such an awesome side character, he enhances Kohga's personality, his story reshapes the players impression of the Yiga, yes these are things about Kohga and the Yiga too, his entire shtick is being there for something/someone else, and his voice rawr

Least favourite thing about him: AGAIN. SCREEN TIME. I am so delulu at this point, he has been in one single game so far and I don't even own the dlc. he is my trout population

Favourite line: "I suppose destiny is at work, then." (my dumbass learning so much English through writing him its insane. Also he is way more polite and sceptical in German.. that probably shaped my characterisation a lot)

brOTP: I absolutely respect and adore a bromance or best friendship between Kohga and Sooga, they're just that fun as a duo

OTP: I think they're the closest to being my OTP of all time, what's several more years of yiga husbands ay

Unpopular opinion: I don't think he's like supernaturally tall, the theories were fun, but I wouldn't put him as over 2,50m tall

Yo, my ever so amazing mutual, yk what would be an amazing fic idea... Sooga haunting the narrative and Kohga having that trauma response where he can't remember much of it besides the smell of blood and how much it hurt. (Sooga dies to a guardian and dies gruesomely and in the arms of Kohga as he begs Sooga to hold on for a bit and surely, he'll be alright. This in my opinion would be an amazing fuel for Kohga's hatred to the Sheika as they originally created the guardians.)

EEEEEEEE this is sooo good, going on the list of wips TYSM for the inspo!! Definitely need more Dead Wife-ooga and Traumakohga. Might just be a one shot of Sooga dying though (she said, lyingly). dying again. i already have soo many wips of him dying. i cast eternal horse plinko on Soogito

but.......... one thing about this (I won't say whaaat~) is already a plot point in Sweet as Banana Wine so definitely stay tuned ehehehehehehe!!

Also, on the Sheikah hatred, I believe I interpreted canon a bit differently: afaik, the ancient sheikah 10.000 years ago split into two groups when the king announced the burial/defunction of ancient sheikah tech (guardians, weapons, beasts) since it got infected with malice: the (now modern) Sheikah who did his bidding and went into hiding, abandoning the tech until recently (second calamity, reemergence, zeldas research)... and the Yiga, who felt disgraced and insulted to be the King's scapegoat, and stood by their inventions, rejecting the royal family and Hylia to pledge allegiance to the Calamity and Ganon. So, in my version, to fuel Kohgas hatred, the guardian would already be under the Royal's/the Sheikah's control [glowing blue] and detecting "allies of the Calamity" on a random patrol, and then BAM! so much angst.

dont have much source at hand right now, so might as well count as my personal worldbuilding atp but this is what I personally aim to tell and have gathered from the source material :3

least favourite thing about her: not enough friends outside of work :< I feel like some actual female friends would make for a fun dynamic, especially in size difference or chitchat about their jobs

unpopular opinion: [no idea if this is considered unpopular] Her fan service scenes are not that bad to me, it's rare you have a body type and personality like hers represented in anime AND BE considered desirable, also she's smart and hot as fuck
