Pale eyes soaked in the manifested form in amusement, smile still calmly at her lips though surprise did reflect in her eyes.

“Seems we aren’t so different, you and I.” She shook the shadows’ hand before taking hers back calmly once more. “And I am flattered you’ve heard of me. Though, color me curious-” She leaned in a bit then before adding, “What exactly have you heard, hm~?”

When Evelynn leaned in, Kayn leaned back, not all too interested in keeping that close of a proximity to her. “The stories talk of a demon who preys on the desires of fools, only to turn those desires into ghoulish nightmares of torture,” he humored her, despite him being fairly certain that she was very aware of what the stories told. He wanted to let her know that he understood her games. “You’d have a hard time pulling the same on me, however. Don’t waste your time trying.”

Possible Misunderstanding

It always was a strange mixed bundle of feelings whenever he managed to help Vi or Caitlyn out with an arrest they were after. For the most parts, unless they're a direct threat to people or Piltover as a whole, Jayce doesn't seem to mind things all that much. After all, he himself disrespected the words of his own government and became a vigilante years back, so he felt it would be hypocritical. 

Then again, he didn't even know what exactly the crimes were done to cause for the person's arrest. He just offered to help, and in the end got it done in a quicker fashion.

If only catching Jinx was that damn easy..

Sighing to himself, a gloved hand slicked back some disheveled strands of hair as he made himself presentable once more. Placing his hammer down against a lamppost for just a moment, the Hero took the time to adjust his uniform as well and brushed off any excessive dirt and made his way off to go return to do a walk about of the city.

Talon was dressed very fancy, and ready to go. The Noble he was to protect had this soiree that he had to attend, and Talon was going with him, as his plus one. The party was lively and energetic, dancing with ladies while he kept his eyes on that noble who was getting quite friendly with one specific lady. This made Talon VERY suspicious, especially when he saw her and the Noble leaving together. 

The assassin excused himself from his partner, and headed after them. But he was just a moment too late as he found his Noble on the ground bleeding to death. "Evelynn. I should have known it was you. Your reputation precedes you." He said softly, leaning against the door and watching her.

Dance of Shadows

Standing on the shore, the Doctor looked out to the sea. From what he had heard, in that direction lay the Shadow Isles. He had always wondered what they were like. The rumors were mostly horror stories, surrounding the various Shadow Isle “champions” who had come from the place. And that they were already dead.

Looking down at his own gloved hands, he wondered if, perhaps, a place like that could help him find himself. For closure’s sake.

A hand was suddenly on the man’s shoulder, cold and sent a chill down the spine. When he would turn, he would find the rest of the Widowmaker stepping from the shadows, amber eyes transfixed in the distance.

"Don’t. I tell you that whatever you are seeking is not worth your life and soul…."

Turning his head to her, face covered in the mask, his expression was unreadable.

Cracking his neck, he chuckled softly, shaking his head. "You assume that I have either. You shouldn't. It's safer that way." Turning back to the sea, he held his hand out to Evelynn. "Doctor. And from the rumors I've heard, you must be Evelynn. Or the Widowmaker, if you prefer."

Zac was bored as he bounced through the dark and damp lands of the shadow isles. "I know this is supposed to be a horrible place but why don't I see anything? I feel like I'm back in the Kumungu Jungles." He sighed while trying to bounce higher and higher. He finally got bored and bold enough to yell out loud, not caring if it was friend or foe that would hear him. "HEY!! DEAD PEOPLE WAKE UP!! ZAC IS BACK!!" After his last bounce he returned to his humanoid form. He smacked his green hand against his face. "Damnit that's Jax's line."

The shadows melted from around Evelynn as she stepped before the man with a ccrooked smile. "Evening, Vladimir." She purred lowly.

Vladimir raises a brow; he does not usually see Evelynn outside the League…or in it much, for that matter. “Evening to you as well, Widow Maker. What brings you here? New prey or personal matters, perhaps?”

Before everything ever happened

Talon didn't get to visit the shadow isles much and he knew that it was one of his favorite places to be, where everything contested for life in the sneakiest of ways they could. He was tracking down one person though. Evelynn. The one woman who had managed to elude the grasps of the Crimson Elite long enough. Perhaps that was why the Leader was so pissed off. Having been made a widow recently, and all evidence pointed at Eve, the Leader of the Crimson Elite was on a warpath to find Evelynn. She had sent Talon in to do what he could. He just had to hope he could find her before she found him.
