I made a presentation about this last week for some friends so most of this is already locked and loaded

What is Pit Babe?

Pit Babe: The Series is a Thai BL drama

it's about race car drivers

it's omegaverse

most characters also have super powers

the main plot revolves around uncovering mysterious evil deeds and fighting back against a secret evil crime syndicate

tl;dr: it's vroom vroom omegaverse X-Men Umbrella Academy in Gay Riverdale with Nancy Drew

What's the actual plot??

Babe (main character) is trying to finally break free of his rich abusive adoptive father’s influence. He does this via racecar driving.

The protagonists’ racing team (X Hunter) is rivals with Red Racing (owned by Babe’s evil dad). The rival team has no integrity and will cheat and commit crimes to win races.

Babe is a "special alpha" which means he has superpowers — in his case, super senses. These senses help him race, but they come with a price: he'll be overstimulated and distracted if he doesn't get dicked down before every race.

Enter: Boytoy Charlie, the main love interest.

To summarize...

The show revolves around Babe's new relationship with Charlie and his team's mission to take down Babe's evil mob boss father — both on and off the race track. There are lots of mysteries to solve, dicks to ride, and plots to twist along the way.

Where do you even watch this??

On YouTube, of course! They post it there legally. For free. With English subtitles. (Thai dramas are just like that sometimes.)

🧭 If your personal practice had its own unique craft/tradition name, what would it be?

The best name I think I can come up with that encompasses a good portion of my practice is Dirtcraft, as I work primarily with the element of earth, the dead that return to the soil, and the plants and other life that spring forth from decomposition.

hey anon! gosh it's been so long since i've posted a snippet of anything! maybe one day i'll be brave and share a snippet from my current project (although it's orginal stuff, so i don't know)

anyway, today i've been sorting through files and i found the "didn't know we were dating" fic i wrote randomly last year, i didn't ever post it, but it was pretty cute, so have a snippet:

Still, if he was dreaming this, he never wanted to wake up.

“Are we…? We’re not dating,” Matteo said hesitantly. He felt so stupid, so dumb. He desperately hoped David wasn’t playing some horrible trick on him.

“Yes we are,” David said, laughing properly now.

Matteo just wanted to cry. “Please don’t laugh at me,” he whispered.

David stopped laughing immediately, his face falling. 

“Hey, hey no I’m not laughing at you Matteo,” he promised.

Matteo just closed his eyes.

“Matteo hey,” David said gently.

Matteo couldn’t speak, he didn’t dare open his eyes. David pulled him into his arms and held him tight, allowing him to hide and calm down. When the trembling stopped, Matteo pulled back a little.

“Ok?”

Matteo shook his head. “I’m sorry David, but we’re not dating,” he said.

“So you weren’t asking me out in the library?”

“No! Of course not!”

“Ouch,” David said quietly.

your opinion on your most underrated ship(s)?

Roceit -

Drama husbands. I love their chemistry and they have such potential to be an amazing power couple. The sass, skill and passion they both have works together so well.

Without the restrictions and pressure of being parts of a singular human being that are forced to work together and being allowed to come up with their own ideals based on the world around them, I honestly think they'd come together to work with one another on their own.

Roman and Janus. The dreamer and the realist, the strength and the cunning, the passion and the subtlety. It just... works.

This ship used to be all over and it's what got me into the fandom in the first place so I don't think I'll ever stop shipping it 💜

And I suppose...

Intruality -

Bc I love nothing more than chaos when introduced to... imma be honest, the best descriptor I can think of is vanilla XD Bc innocence isn't the right word for Patton, seems infantilizing and he is not a child. A little naive, maybe but not innocent.

But frfr, Patton knows very well how the world works and ignores that reality to focus on the sunshine and rainbows, shunning anything that he deems as "bad", even his own emotions.

Remus also knows how the world works and will not shun any part of it or himself, he refuses to. He doesn't deny that the sunshine and rainbows have their place in the world, but he's just not interested in them. That dichotomy makes imagining them together overall fun and interesting.

I honestly think they could help one another.
