After finding out about that, I gotta ask other people

I'll be honest, I don't really (romantic)ship outside of the three pairings I care about. I blame my past of never really getting into the fandom scene, being aroace and kinda oblivious to pairings unless it's real obvious

But I see the potential

Personally I enjoy seeing them as casual, long distance friends who meet up every so often to catch up on each others lives and discuss their 86s. Along with Shinji too, who's not as interested in cars but enjoys the company that's not the Sidewinder gang.

Also @/guruneko has a piece they did of Wataru having to manage apathetic chibi versions of shinji and takumi and I love it so much. I'll try to find it later.
