[The visit to the Royal Trinity Hospice in Clapham did go as expected. All the formalities had already been dealt with earlier this week, all the team members (and, of course, Oliver) were present and actually knew their assigned duties — so the only thing Val had left to do was to actually join them.

However... When you're not exactly human for decades already, it's quite hard to visit a place full of misery and just... not. So while Oliver looks a little exhausted, Val's skin has become a whole new, healthy shade of white. Not that it's morally good or something. It just. Is.]

No-no, thank you for coming! You did so much today — and, well, it's a pity you had to be excluded from the morning group photo just because you're actually not our employee...

That is the single most misleading title in there lmao :D I had to briefly pause when I looked at your ask and mentally go 'Oh lord, what did I do' BUT, seeing as how I didn't expand my kinks folder in there (or a few others that I noticed this morning while less tired, but shhh, we're not admitting to *more* fics) it's actually not the daddy kink I thought it was lol

It's so sweet and innocent! This fic was a request from a friend of mine, and it's essentially a Malec first meeting when Magnus is dealing with a terrified young warlock child along the beach, and the kid is hurt and crying but doesn't want to let Magnus close, with zero things showing off magic, and Alec happens to stumble upon them while out for the evening with his siblings.

It's basically an excuse for good-with-kids-Alec to show off in front of Magnus a little without even trying, convinced that he's helping out a big brother like himself at first.

***The following is only my humble opinion & I don't claim it's the truth, only the way I see Levihan***

My favorite Levihan hc is that it's a "friends to lovers" trope.

When they first talk to each other (ACWNR), Hange's genuine praise takes Levi off guard but this first impression will remain in his mind. They're the first person trying to be friendly & to get to know the Underground trio. I think Hange helped Levi get over his grief when Farlan & Isabel died, just being around & acting friendly, not even expecting him to reciprocate. As years went by, Levi became more & more comfortable around Hange, maybe because they're both out of the ordinary people, they understand one another better. I think Levi told Hange about his childhood, his life in the Underground, as Hange is not the type to judge their peers in any way.

Levi would not only listen to Hange's theories, ideas, plans, but also remember what they told him about those topics. Levi is also the one taking care of Hange's health, the one spending time with them on a daily basis, the one helping them figure things out & supporting them no matter what. I think that at some point, they became more intimate & developped romantic feelings for each other. The painful loss of Erwin also brought them closer.

For me they're soulmates, either you see their relationship as platonic or romantic. They trust each other, understand each other without even speaking, they support each other's decisions... I wish we could have had a glimpse at what happened during the 4 years gap between S3 & S4. In my imagination, Levi & Hange's relationship strengthens during those years, as they are constantly together, working, making & discussing plans, raising the kids, spending time off riding outside the walls...

I see IFKK & the "dedicate your heart" scenes as love confessions. Everything they've been through together increased their unique bond, but makes the end even more painful. They could not escape their fate, but they deserved to live together peacefully after war, nothing can change my mind about that.

ik it probably doesn’t seem like a lot, but it isn’t hard to overwhelm me. i’m still getting the hang of taking requests and this is the most i’ve gotten. especially in such a short amount of time. i didn’t expect too many people to see my stuff so i was a little intimidated by the amount of people that did. when i got the first one on the list i was so excited to write it, but made the mistake of waiting to write it the next day. that’s when i woke up to a bunch more requests and my brain immediately short circuited.

what’s even more confusing is that when i opened my requests for the first time i was so excited to get some, but now that i have its kinda spooky. like, i know i’m overthinking most of this, but my brain is like “hey remember there are people waiting for you to write their stuff for them, you don’t wanna keep them waiting and disappoint them right?” which makes me overthink even MORE 😭

i don’t know, point is this is all very new to me and i didn’t expect this to be as stressful as it is 💀 but i’ll get to the requests, some might just take longer than others and i might post different non-request stuff in between since my motivation for certain requests is just [insert echoed fart noise here]. also on top of that, i have irl stuff to do as well as online. but that’s the case with everyone so i won’t talk about that.
