              jet felt a little unsure what to say. he hadn’t heard her express feelings like this to him before, but knew she was earnest in them. sam always seemed to be. she was really one of the most honest people he’d ever met, and he admired her for it immensely. “ it’s alright to not be alright sometimes, sam, ” he offered, hoping that was the right thing to say. he reached his arms out to her, to let her come to him, sure that the best he could do at the moment to give her some comfort was a hug. and maybe a hot bowl of something warm to eat if she wanted it.
